Two days after sacking Goncharenko from his manager post at BATE Borisov, Anatoliy Kapski set is target to replace the club legend. And to replace a local legend, who would be better than a world legend? Kapski declared to the Belarusian website "Pressball" that he wanted to appoint Sir Alex Ferguson, who retired nearly 9 months ago, as manager. He is ready to offer a 500,000€ per week contract! "I asked Fergie personal agent if we could have a meeting in London. I'm waiting for the answer but I'm very confident that we can find quickly an agreement." The chairman then added that he hoped that having Ferguson as a manager could help him sign Ronaldo. "We are ready to put a lot of money on Ronaldo, and I'm sure he would love to join us if it is Ferguson who lead the talks."
In the same interview, Kapsy spoke of his hobbies (Fishing, cooking, gardening...) and his childhood. You can find the full interview here!

It isn't a surprise, Cristiano Ronaldo don't want to join BATE Borisov. "Why would someone like me would want to join a shit** club like them? Even if Alex was their manager I wouldn't be interested and why would Alex would even be interested to go and manage in Belarus. I'm not even sure where it is. I don't know in which town is BATE Borisov and a crazy guy want me to sign over there?"
Ronaldo and Sir Alex Ferguson were yesterday set as BATE Borisov targets by the chairman Anatoliy Kapski. Ferguson didn't speak to medias about these declarations while Ronaldo has multiplied replies in many media, describing Kapski as the biggest idiot in the world and his club as the most useless club in Europe!

Two days ago, the BATE Borisov owner and chairman Anatoliy Kapski declared that he wanted to appoint Ferguson as manager and then sign Ronaldo. Yesterday, the Portuguese declared in several medias that he wasn't interested, that Ferguson won't be, that Kapski is an idiot and that BATE was an useless club.

And Kapski didn't like that at all! When one of our Sport Investigator phoned him, he was very happy to talk to us and the first thing he declared was: "What an idiot! I didn't think I would one day know someone crazier than Goncharenko!"

After a little chat with Anatoliy, it become clear that it was an even crazier situation than we thought!
"This moron thought I was talking of him. But in that case I would have said the stupid winger at Real Madrid! No I was talking of the real Ronaldo! The one who will always be a big guy in football history! I want Sir Alex Ferguson as manager and Ronaldo as his assistant! But because I was talking of Fergie, this Portuguese prat thought he was implicated somehow. He is so egocentric! Someone talk of Ferguson?! So he is also talking of me! I was just hoping that having a legend like Ferguson could help me get Ronaldo in the staff. But why would I want a guy who never won World Cup and who will never win it like this fool!?"

So Kapski made it clear, Cristiano Ronaldo won't join BATE Borisov. But nobody really thought it would happen...
Random England vs Russia on FM12 isn't the full interview :P

BATE Borisov website just made a surprise statement, officialising the appointment of Andrei Kapski as manager. The former Belarusian international (45 games/11 goals) played for BATE until he was 22. He then passed the major part of his career in Russia, Ukraine, and Holland. He retired 4 years ago, aged 36, and was never implicated in management.

But Andrei appointment is mostly creating controversy because he is the brother of Anatoliy Kapski, the chairman and owner of BATE. The two brothers were never seen together in the public domain and Andrei never showed any interest in becoming manager. Since his retirement, he was a columnist in a sport show on Belarusian television and also wrote for a football magazine.

Anatoliy declared to the club web-television that Andrei was his first choice and that rumours about Ferguson were nonsense. "Why would Ferguson join a useless club like us?" said the chairman, using the same words than C.Ronaldo when he was talking of BATE. "Now that we are settled, the real works begins! Be prepared for the greatest season the club ever had! It is the Belarusian Revolution!"

My 1000th post I think :D

BATE Borisov chairman, Anatolyi Kapski just revealed on his twitter account that BATE Borisov had appointed the famous former French international as assistant-manager. The news is a big surprise as there wasn't any indication from either parts that negotiations were in process. This is the first glamorous appointment of Borisov new area and it is a big one. So there will surely be more and we will provide you all the information directly from Belarus!
Wow, big name assistant! Hope he helps out!

Thanks for reading m8 :)

Yesterday, a bit after 11PM, Anatoliy Kapski announced on his Tweeter account that BATE Borisov appointed Zinedine Zidane as assistant manager. Four hours later, a Real Madrid statement declared that they didn't know what was this story and that Zidane was still their assistant-manager.

Now all the world of football, all the medias, and even some politicians(!) are multiplying declarations on the chairman madness!
But isn't it just a commercial operation that is trying to do Kapski, making is club the most discussed subject in the world, particularly on the social networks! If this was his objective, he managed it perfectly. Even after beating Bayern Munich 3 goals to 1 [October 2012], "BATE Borisov" hadn't be so typed on Google search engine!
Here are some quotes from well know footballers:

Cristiano Ronaldo: "This is getting crazier and crazier! BATE Borisov appointing Zidane?! And some people believed it! I mean, it is like if he was going to coach in Albania or Belarus, it would be just impossible! Their chairman is so weird. I read is last interview on me and I just fell off my chair! I thought he was talking off me the first time, how stupid was I?!"

Steven Gerrard: "I must say weird thing are happening in Belarus these times. I'm interested in the story since the beginning when they were talking about the takeover. And it quickly become a barmy story with Goncharenko, Ronaldo, Ferguson... And I think we will have a lot more to come. Can't wait for it!!!"

Mario Balotelli: "Belarus seems to be the place to be! I just bought my season ticket for BATE Borisov, and I would love to meet their chairman, he seems to be a great guy. Would I be interested in signing there? Not now but if they stay crazy and continue to progress I might be tempted in a couple of years!
Woah!!! Quite a shock! Absolutely dying of laughter from Balotelli's quote there though XD

Andrei and Anatoliy Kapski, respectively manager and owner of BATE Borisov, were holding their first press conference together. The two brothers seemed quite relax and liked to tease each other.

Andrei was the first to talk and he answered several questions on his relation with Anatoliy. This was followed by questions on their ambitions for the club and Andrei declared that he will need a big transfers budget if they wanted to be competitive on the European scene.

When a journalist reminded Anatoliy that he announced that the club could only buy free players and all the money (about 200M£) would be spend on training grounds and youth academy, the chairman answered that:
"You can't win anything with youngsters. I want my club to progress now, not in ten years! And to manage that we need to spend a lot of money on transfers! Big transfers! And Goncherenko, or Chongarenko or whatever [his name is Goncharenko] didn't understand that. This is why he was sacked."

A journalist then asked what transfer budget will Andrei work with, Anatoliy answered "200M pounds plus a 3M£ per week wage budget."

We also retained from this press conference that the club had several staff members leaving after the different parties decided to mutually terminate the contracts and that Andrei wanted to be Belarus manager at the 2016 European Championship!
