Hello all! I have decided to start a nice story, and invite you all to follow me as I manage Burnley FC, my local team! Whilst I was raised a Manchester United fan, I have always followed Burnley with a close eye, and was at Wembley for the play-off final!
My plan, is that in at least 5 seasons, Burnley FC will be a comfortable mid-table Premiership Team! From there, who knows!
Hope to see you all on the other side!

Pre Season
http://img864.imageshack.us/img864/7062/preseason.png
Pre season went quite well. Overall we finished with 4W/1D/1L 21F/6A
The loss to Norwich was hard, with Steve Morrison claiming a hat-trick.
The wins showed me that my team were able to both producing and scoring their chances, which gives me confidence for the future.
The draw to Accrington hurt. Chris McCann got sent off in the first half and from there my team never really got going. That should of been a big victory there, to give us the big boost going into my first game of the season.
League Cup
Burnley have drawn Crewe in the first round of the League Cup, the tie is to be played at Turf Moor.
Boardroom
After reshaping the staff at the club, overall training levels have been better. However, I decided that the facilities could do with being update. As such, I went to the board.
The board agreed with me on this, and have planned to spend £5.5m on revamping the facilities. Work starts at the end of the season and is expected to be completed by 3/10/12.

September
Championship -
Crystal Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
Burnley 3 - 1 Leicester (Jay Rodriguez (2), Ross Wallace)
Leeds 0 - 4 Burnley (Charlie Austin (2), Jay Rodriguez (2))
Brighton 3 - 3 Burnley (Chris McCann, Jay Rodriguez, Ben Mee)
Overall the last month was a mixture of yays and nays. First defeat of the Championship to Palace was upsetting, but then I knew the unbeaten run had to come to an end. Good with a Leicester, and then an AMAZING performance at Leeds, who had only conceded 4 before the game!
Brighton was a good game for the neutral, we went 1-0 up with McCann's first of the season. At half time however, it was 2-1 to Brighton. Amazing late come back saw Jay Rod & Ben Mee get important goals, that surely would win us the game. However, Craig Mackail-Smith banged in an equaliser in the 93 minute.
One word.. GUTTED
The only problems I can see at the moment is the fact that I am conceding far to many goals. Might look for a new GK and DC to add some much needed solidity to the back 4.
League Cup -
Burnley 1 - 2 Tottenham (Ross Wallace)
It was always going to be a tough game, but when we went 1-0 up.. I must admit.. I got a bit excited. It didn't last long. The quality of a strong side showed through, as Spurs banged in 2 goals in the space of 2 minutes.
To rub salt in the wounds, Jordi Gomez tore his hamstring.. 3 months out.
Boardroom
I went to the board, and as before with the Training Facilities, request the update the youth facilities. Request accepted!
The board have planned to spend £3.2m on the Youth Facilities, to be completed on 3.10.2012
Could you post a pic off the league please
Oh i seen you signed Jordi Gomez, Unlucky on the injury but. Hope you can keep up some good results through the rest of the season
Transfer Update
Could use a new striker. Apart from Jay Rod they've just not been preforming. Hines has been ok.. but I'm trying to get him to be an attacking AMR.. he has amazing pace. Austin just seems lost at times, and Hulse.. don't get my started!
My only concern, and I know it's early, is buying someone who could make the step-up if I should get promoted this year.
This is where you guys come in.. hit me up with some suggestions, and I'll take a look and see if I can get them to happen!
Now go!
.....You tried Yaya Sanogo..?
(About 4.5M, i am not sure if you got to be an EPL club.)
