GOING AGAINST MY PRINCIPLES

If there is one thing i hate its buying players in January i would just use my youths but southend don't have any good ones i have given the youths a chance in 1st team but got noting from them so i had to go transfer market and look for a free good striker i found one only thing is cant get work permit for him he played in England and Chelsea let him go so i have taken him on a 3 week trial and will put bid in after his name is Jhon Pierz his stats look pretty good for me in league 2 Jamil Adam still out 4 more weeks so had to go to the market let me no what you think of this player.

How did you go wage wise - what limits do you have at the moment and when Jamil Adam is fit, what role would you see this new striker playing?

In my opinion, if you were looking purely at free transfers, Pirez is probably as good as you are going to get! My other suggestions would be former Italian international Bernardo Carradi, he's about 35, but still decent stats and brings some stability in; good team man and captaincy material in the short term. He'll cost about 2-2.5K per week, so great as long as you have some wage budget to play with. Can also develop into a useful ass man. after his career is over.

Rowan Vine is a local option which you may like to consider, but his only strong attributes are team work and he could bring a bit of x-factor to the table.

Other players I'd look at for loan would be: Anass Achahbar, young striker at Feyenoord who develops really well. You might not be able to scout him yet, depending how your Board are! Failing that, I'd try for Yazzine Benzia at Man City (depending on your rep), Ryan Noble at Sunderland, or useful utilities like Luke Rooney (Swindon) or George Porter (at Leyton Orient).

FIVE MORE GAMES

I have played five more games now and with Jamil Adam out but back for my next game i was thinking about transfer market as use can see i found a free striker i took him on trial to see if i could get work permit for him which i could not so i did not buy anyone in January transfer market and i am happy about that cause my players really stepped it up so here are my re results and matches.

They were a good five games not letting a goal in in the last four games and getting something from the five played a look at the league table now.


Now 2 players have really played well this month so have a look.
1ST Hall has being in fine form and some great games and scored 4 in last five]

Liam Dickinson has really step it up with Adams injury and showing that he can do what Adams does to as in score goals a great five games for Dickinson.

The season is now over and yes we did it got 1st place promotion in first year to Npower league 1.It was a great season for southend united. we played so well the hole year and are efforts of paid of with the media saying 6th looked on the cards for southend so now here are the results and matches the table and awards for the end of the season.

Ok so a new starts and i would love a mid table finish this year after being promoted i am going bring in a lot of players to club i got a 1.5 mil transfer budget which is unbelievable for a league one side so i will be getting good players to play for southend and hopefully do the club prod bye mid table this year and promotion next is what i am after so i will update with transfers and pre season.

I had that with FM 11, bought Ian Flanagan on a free from Liverpool and Harry Bunn (free from Man City), both with ordinary stats, and yet they both managed in the EPL (once Maidenhead got there)...sold Bunn for 30M too.....

And then there was that fella Taylor, who was a goal machine.
