Portsmouth - Sorting it out!

Portsmouth!

So I am attempting to do a story with Portsmouth. I am trying to sort finances and various other things out. Wish me luck!

Media Prediction: 24th
Board Target: Avoid Relegation
My Target: Avoid Relegation


I have a £0.00 Transfer budget. (No surprise!) And the club can spend 140k on wages, we are currently spending £238.942. Not a great start. And our balance is -3,137.941.

So lets go!

Wages

The top earners:

Ben Haim - £36,000
Mokoena - £28,000
Kitson, Lawrence and Mullins are all on £20,000

This are part of the first team. I'm going to look at them and the rest of the team in January to see if they can go.

Transfer News

Mullins has left Pompey and is going to Fulham. I have no say if stays or leaves. I did get £650,000 for him which is nice. I would of liked to of kept him, he is a key player playing in CM. However I am going to dip in the loan market to hopefully get a few players. Hopefully.

Too be honest, I don't know the best loan players to sign so if anyone would like to comment, it would be a great help! I am looking at the loan market now to see who would be good signings.

How about trying to get will keane on loan i know manchester united dont make you pay any wage percentage and he is a very good youth prospect im just not sure if he bags a lot at championship level but take a look at him and see what you think?

You can try loaning Jack Robinson (DL) from Liverpool, Steven Caulker (DC) from Tottenham, Lorenzo Crisetig (DM,MC) from Inter. Also try looking at Arsenal and Man Utd reserves. If I'm not wrong, Welbeck and Macheda are also available on loan.

All the best with your story. It's going to be tough considering the finance given but if you could pull this off, it will be a very great achievement. Will be following this story to see how it goes.

With little to no transfer budget it'll be hard to get Portsmouth back to the top tier. I'll definitely be following this closely to see how it goes :) Loaning a few young talents could be a good start.

Thanks for commenting guys on who I should get. I went for all of them but...

Will Keane - On loan already
Jack Robinson - Needed some wages to be paid
Steven Caulker - On loan already
Crisetig - Could not loan offer. I think I can't because he is co-owned.
Welbeck - Needed some wages to be paid.

Therefore, I will be looking at other players who are available.

My tactics are 442 and 4231. These suit my team well. And I only have 18 players in my squad.

Transfer Update

So I have not managed to sign anyone on loan because every club wanted a fee and wages to be paid, I have looked at many players and all say the same thing. Very annoying.

I'm doing a career with Darlington as they're in big financial crisis and in the days of old they used to be a pretty big team gonna try and get them to the premiership. hopefully change their fortunes. gonna be tough but i like a challenge :P
