Aston Villa have sacked manager Alex McLeish after reports have come in of McLeish has had money put into an off shore account’s while he was the manager of Birmingham City from the years from 2007 to 2011 we understand that McLeish Has around 3.2 Million in the account and is under stood to have taken a little bit each year from transfer fees McLeish said he has no comment to make on the matter and McLeish is facing a Court Hearing in the next couple of weeks and is understood that the ex-Scotland manager could be hit with a ban from management.
Aston Villa Chairman Randy Lerner said the reason behind the dismissal of McLeish was a vote from all the broad members to get him out as it would look bad if the club left him on as the manager. We understand 2 days after Jason Kavanagh was offered the Aston Villa job Kavanagh went to Randy Lerner asking if he could have the job even a six month trial to show what he can do Kavanagh also said he knows the club inside out and got the backing from the players Kavanagh said what’s the point of getting a manager that does not know the players as well as I do and I won’t let you down I will give this job 110% and you will see success so please give me the chance. Lerner said he has never seen anyone come to him like that asking for the job and he said that he had seen something from the 27 year old the determination in his eyes and the spring in his step showed me that he was the right man for the job.
Jason Kavanagh has been giving a deal from Aston Villa to become the manager of the club after Lerner said the way he approaches me about the job after I make him a part time manager and that was not good enough so have giving the young Irish man a 2 year deal on $29,500 Per Week and I want a top half finish from him in the 1st season. Kavanagh said that he hopes he can bring success back to the club and that the door is open if anyone wants to come and talk to him about anything and that he will be making a few new signings over the next few weeks.
