I have a career as Newcastle and have had a bid accepted for Kovacic but he doesn't join till the end of the season. When he arrives I intend to play him in the first team in the centre and I want to play Ben Arfa out on the right so he can cut inside and shoot. I have experimented with playing him as an inside forward and a winger that cuts inside but none have been successful so far. Do I just need to give him time or is there anything else I can do?

play him as Avanced Player Support but place him on the AMR,He will do everything asked of him,Crossing,Cutting inside,Through Balls etc..Good luck
