I'm playing as Sheffield Wednesday on my career mode, and although my results are good, it is always very tight, and I only have a few notable shots, while it takes heroics from my keeper at the other end. Any help would be appreciated.

I play a 4-4-2, and the team is: Weaver; Buxton (RB), Jones (CB), Llera/ Batth (CB), Johnson/ Bennet (LB); Ward (RM), Lines (CM), Semedo (CM), Jones (LM); O'Grady (SC), Madine (SC).

Cheers for the help :)
#57204 Hellstorm77 : I play this tactic with liverpool it works great for me. I had to train my fullbacks to be wingbacks but that didnt take too long

Cheers for the help mate. But Jordan Henderson really? Surely you could get someone like Yann M'Vila?
. I'm pretty much using the same tactic but.I've got one of the wingers playing right behing the striker..

I suggest u get rid of Henderson and replace him with a player who can hold up and dictate play .. make your defensive midfielder a deep lying playmaker
I started a career with Man City and started playing a 4-3-2-1. Worked wonders. Maybe having Cavani up front helped.

To be fair Henderson is playing really well for me at the moment.. Im not looking for players to hold up the ball as the ball gets passed around like barca play.. Henderson gets 80+% passing rate each match which is good

I like having leandro damiao from internacional up front but i dont have the money for him yet.. need to find a very cheap and very good ball winning midfielder.. I was looking at joe allen from swansea a young player put im not sure how good he plays

What's the most goals Damiao has got in a season for you? Might look at him, despite blowing my budget on Cavani and a RB from Croatia. Also can you post what Joe Allen's stats look like?

Also sell players like Kuyt to raise funds. And demand a small fee for loans. Then loan out all the reserves and academy. Simples.

Is there a way you can teach players a language, or do they just pick it up over time? Also I started a career with my second team, Lisbon, and it emphasised that I didn't speak Portuguese. Am I meant to learn it somehow?

Also I used the tactics you recommended in a home match against Yeovil, and ran out 5-1 victors, and played absolutely brilliantly. Cheers :D!

some players learn the language over time it just depends i thing on the player.. I dont think a manager can learn a new language.

This tactic is the true Barcelona tiki taka tactic. Its all Possession football while making triangles for passing plus defending with the ball. Look how swansea city did late season finished 11 in the league i think 1 goal away from being 10th..

If your adv play marker isn't doing well move him up into an attacking midfielder role so he is closer to the forward player this is my second tactic.

If you wouldn't mind, could you tell me what you think of this team?

That's using the same formation you showed me.

The same as on the screenshot. Or a keeper, two CBs, 2 FBs, a DM, 2 CMs, two wingers, and a striker.
