I would prefer a lower league club and it does not have to be in england as I enjoy a challenge. I will take on the most intresting one :D

I second that.
It would be nice to see a pentagon challenge around here
I'm sort of working on part one in Africa....

Does that sound like a line from a Toto song?

I third that LOL.

Coaching Badges Earned

After years of wanting to be involved in professional football,Today is the day it has become possible for Dean Byrne. He barely achieved his coaching badges this year and most think he will never find a club. One coach was quoted saying "At first he didn't understand the offside rule,Now he is out looking for a club,God help that desperate club." As to what club or region Dean Byrne is looking at is unknown,From research we Know he has family in every continent in the world which means It may not be Europe that he starts his managerial career.

The young Irish manager will have to be patient as their are not many free jobs at the moment,So it may be some time yet until we see "The next Steve Mcclaren" take the hot seat at a club.Watch this space.

That Desperate Club

http://i50.tinypic.com/n4w679.jpg

After 4 month's without any replies from club's Byrne had applied at,It seemed that no club was willing to take on someone with such little experience.Eager to get in to management,He told his PA to apply for every team with a vacant manager role while he went to enjoy life in Portugsl on a well deserved holiday. After a few weeks his PA sounding as excited as a kid in a sweet shot told Byrne that someone had offered his the hotseat.Who could be so Desperate to offer a young Irishmen the role of leading a club to success when he had nothing on his CV to show for it? That team was Defensa Y Justicia.

Playing their football in the 2nd tier of Argentina,Defensa Y Justicia were currently on their worst run of form ever without a win in 14 games. They sat at the bottom of the league and results didn't seem like they were going to change anytime soon.Once Dean Byrne landed in Buenos Aires,He was collected by a Club representive and driven to the stadium where he met up with the chairman. It is believed that Byrne is currently on a £675p/w deal that runs until 2013.

The main challenge may not even be improving results or lifting morale in the dressing room,A huge challenge for Byrne is that he doesn't speak a word of Spanish! This is something he said he will work on but it's not going to happen overnight. Morale is at an all time low in the D.Y.J team so if results are to change so will that. Will this be too much pressure for the young lad? Or will he prove his many critics wrong
Good luck in Argentina! What leagues did you select?

November

First job on Byrne's mind was to get a translator with him 24/7. Once he did that he called a team meeting in hope to lift a few heads. He told them that although results had been poor of late,He believed they were good enough to turn it around. The reaction from the players was fantastic and they looked pumped for the next game in which they wanted to end the run of 14 games without a win.It was decided that the same tactics would be used for a game or two so Byrne could get to know the players.Byrne was thrown into the deep end with his first game against promotion chasing Huracan.

Huracan 2-1 Defensa Y Justicia
Jonathan Lopez [45]
A great preformance against a team everyone thought would run riot. With every goalkeeper in the squad injured,Dean Byrne was forced to play a striker in goals which showed for the second goal which any mediocre goalkeeper would have saved.

Alte.Brown 1-0 Defensa Y Justicia
Once again D.Y.J showed they are no pushovers as they fought right to the end only to lose to a wonder strike. Alte.Brown can count themselves lucky today but will gladly take the 3 points.

Defensa Y Justicia 3-1 River Plate
Rolando Zarate [25]
Sergio Velazquez [44]
Luis Silva [56]
A huge win! The drought is finally over as River Plate had no answer to D.Y.J's fine display. The main talking point was no doubt a supurb goal by Rolando Zarate who beat the whole defence and slotted the ball past the keeper.Great way to end the month for D.Y.J

November although only winning 1/3 games was a good month. The morale in the dressing room definatly had changed and the team had ended its drought! Hopefully now we can see them excel through the rest of the season.

Season Table

D.Y.J are 19th with 11 points
