The Story So Far...

So I am a and a bit through my save (Oct 2012). You can go check out my story so far here. I decided not to carry on with that topic as I thought it wasn't good enough quality.

So here is my tactics and last season's league table:

So as you can see, I finished 10th last season, which was good considering I had £0 transfer budget but I still felt I needed to build some depth to my so here are my signings:

Overall, a really good start to the . I am, however, a bit disappointed about the loss to Wolves.

Last of all, here is my typical starting XI this season:

So I will do a monthly update and do an in-depth review of the month- such as goalscorers, player of the months and a few line match report on each match. This was just an overview of the past year and a bit so this is not like an actual monthly update.

i suggest changing your formation cause u have no in the middle of the park and big teams will really exploit that

You have acted very shrewd to do something good with the team, which is what a real manager is supposed to do. I'm guessing you would've preferred finishing a little higher up the standings, but as long as you have the job, you can always do better next year.

Thanks! I think Fierro will turn into something good in a few seasons. I will try and get another tactic. What formation do you suggest??? I will post my other 2 tactics up as well.

Thanks! We were 7th with about 3 games to go- ahead of Arsenal, Wolves and Stoke- but we fell apart and dropped down dramatically. Luckily, things are looking good this season though- 1/4 way through the season and we are 3rd!!

Tactics

Here are my three tactics and a little view on them:

This one is a great tactic. It is good both defensive and attacking and never fails for me.
4-4-1-1

This is my defensive tactic. It is a good tactic but it doesn't to many goals.

This is a weird tactic but it works. I don't use it much though.

So those are my tactics. I use the top one the most. Feel free to leave any comments on them and advise me on how to make them better.

November Results

We did not deserve to this match. Fulham dominated throughout and we only thanks to a superb effort by Darwin Quintero and some heroic goalkeeping by Tim Howard.

A really good in a which we dominated. Stoke never threatened us and only a constolation in the dying minutes. We had to beat teams like Stoke if we want to get a Champion's place next .

A good result against a good team- especially away. I thought we would lose this but I was wrong. David Bentley is really showing why he should be in the first after scoring in our last 2 and getting a MOM as well.

A really nervy match as we only won with a 90+4 minute goal. We wasted chances and the only way we was in the dying seconds, while we had only ten men after using up all my subs and Marouane Fellaini getting injured, when I pushed everybody apart from 1 centre-back to an attacking position. In terms of injuries, Coleman is out for 5 to 6 weeks whilst Fellaini is out for 4 weeks.

Monthly Review

Overall, a really great month. We extended our unbeaten run to 8 matches and moved up one position to 2nd in the table. Darwin Quintero remained our top with 7 goals, followed by Luuk De Jong, James McFadden and Hatem Ben Arfa all on 4 goals. Sebastien Bassong has been our star performer with an average rating of 7.57 in 13 .

Chelsea have 2 games in hand so could still catch us up but they could still drop points. Also, if we drop any points will pounce on us and steal our 2nd place.

Look Ahead To Next Month

Next month is going to be tough. With against and we may drop points but all the rest of the are must wins.

So with a tough next month, we will be lucky to hang onto 2nd place but if we do, I will be over the moon. December will be the next update- so until then... see ya.

Yeah, they always do bad in FM and nobody never seem to want to play them.
But who knows, maybe they might get M'baye Niang in FM13, he's already on trial with them

If they get Niang I will definitely play with Everton in FM13!!!
