Today We will be talking about regens and how to find the best ones:-

A Small Introduction on Regens (Newgens):-

Regens are the players that the game generates Every Year at the same time to make up for the retiring footballer

Example:-

There are three good tested methods to find decent regens:-

Scouting Network Search:Which is basically you getting good scouts and configuring the standards to match your demands (You know when you set a new assignment for a scout) and wait for the scout's
reports, this way is easy and quick but not effective as the next one.

2.Manuel Search: Manuel Search is divided into 2 Sections.

2.1.Youth Intakes: You need to know the youth intakes dates of every country is (Google it), and monitoring it Trying to find the best hidden gems. (go to World>Transfers>World>Then Select youth intakes), This way is effective but boring and hard.

List Of Youth intake dates in Countries with good regens:
Argentina: 2 April
Brazil: 20th September
France,Germany,Croatia,Ukraine: 8th March
England: 13th March
Spain:25th March
Holland:28th March
Belgium,Italy,Portugal: 18th March
Mexico:3rd march
Belarus:2 November
Ivory Coast:31 October

2.2.Clubs With Reputations: This way is Used when you don't know the dates of youth intakes or can't wait, this basically you going into the best countries producing regens (Brazil, argentina, Belguim etc)and looking for the Clubs with Good youth recruitment and checking their Youth academies.

List of those Clubs:
Belgium: Genk, Anderlacht, Standard Leige

Brazil:,Santos, , Corinthianas, Gremio, Internacional, Palmeiras, Vitoria, Fluminese

Argentina:Newell,River plate,Boca,Velez

Croatia:Dinamo Zaghreb

England:Soton,Westham,Liverpool,Arsenal,Manchester United,Crewe

Spain:Barcelon,Athletic,Atletico Madrid,Real Madrid,Valencia,Betis

France: INF Clairefontaine, AJ Auxerre, Stade Malherbe Caen, RC Lens, Olympique Lyon, Olympique Marseille, Sochaux

Ukraine:Shakhtar, Dinamo Kiev

Italy;Napoli,Sampdoria,Juventus,Udinese,Torino,Fiorentina,A.C. Milan

Holland:Ajax,Feyenoord, PSV,Twente, Groningen

Belarus,RUOR (Third Tier)

Mexico:Chivas,Tigres

Ivory Coast: Asec

Portugal:Porto,Benfica,Sporting Lisbon, Braga

Germany: Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Schalke 04, Borussia Mochengladbach, Bayer Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, Stuttgart, HSV, 1860 Munich

What to look for in a regen:-
Well A Good Regen isn’t hard to spot, But sometimes the stats don’t reflect the players ability, sometimes you need to check for Mental Attributes like Determination ( If you’re having doubts about a regen you could simply Get a scout report on him)

3.Own Resources :-
only a few clubs will be able to use this way, It takes time and money, this is basically you upgrading the youth Facilities and youth recruitment and waiting till you get a good regen, this way isn’t effective for poor clubs or a manager that needs to find a good regen without waiting a hole year.

That's it I hope it was useful, All questions are welcomed, If someone found a mistake or wants to add something to the thread please say it in a reply.
Nice thread! I will be using the advice for my Arsenal and England save.

Thanks Jam, Will be expecting some testing results :)
Nice guide, regen, It helped me understand a lot of stuff, rather than just searching every month or two on Genie Scout.

i dont think iv ever had a long enough save to get an amazing regen :(
This is a good reference guide. :)
I know both of them are United quality, but tell me, who is better:

Bought for 1.7 Million

What our Youth Squad produced

Personally, they both look Beast.

Its hard to get a good DR Or DL in the game, and that one is great - i do like the turkish one though, i'd train him in passing/long shots/Free kicks and have him take all the free kicks and whatnot :P
#65330 Gurdit : This is a good reference guide. :)
Thanks :)

The Turkish Midfielder Looks Sick!!! Make him his default Set piece taker

the RB Looks good and looks like his gonna improve a lot more

the CM is better in my opinion but they are in different positions.
Yeah the Turkish guy is definitely rocking

personally, i like the most the right midfielder. he is younger, has a lot more of determination and in a year or two you can expect him to be described as a wonder kid. but the other is also very good ;)

nice regens mate
I'd add to this, you need to understand which characteristics don't change much and which are likely to change. If you are building a very determined squad, a youngster with determination 5 may not be for you, as that attribute will not go way up - I think it can rise a tiny bit. On the other hand, if you're hunting for a world class crosser, one who is at 11 at age 15 has the possibility of becoming quite good - though might not, it's not given to us to know the possibilities unless you use an external tool (thus subjecting you to cries of cheating on this board ;) ). The point being, you can "gamble" on attributes which are changeable if they're at a reasonably promising level, but not on ones that don't change much or at all.
