FMGenieScout.exe is corrupted

Hey,

I'm getting the above window when I try and open the scouter.

The following part says:

Please download correct version from www.fmscout.com Otherwise Genie Scout will not be able to work properly.

The scouter does actually open, but then I can not load a game. Last night it was showing me errors, now it just says the "Game is not found".

Has there been an update at all? or is there a workaround for this?

Everything is fine with Genie Scout mate. Donated something about 3$ to get my file, works like a charm. Don't see any problems with it. Just cannot understand how people aren't even able to donate a harmless dollar.

The problem is Genie Scout, I donated at the very beginning and everything worked great but with the latest version I get the corrupted error and now it says it cannot find game data.

Hopefully this can be fixed without starting all over again.

I donated too, and received the G version.... but as I said, after one week it's corrupt.

I had issues getting all the details emailed to me initially and was just wondering if there was a new release that I didn't get.

I downloaded it about a week ago. Has there been a new release since then?

I've been getting this error the past few days too. Re-installed, re-downloaded, I've tried everything and it's still saying that FMGeniescout.exe is corrupt =(

Most people don't find this message has any effect on whether or not Genie Scout works, just ignore it and run as normal.

Genie loads but then I get other errors about the game not being found etc......

*EDIT*

Perhaps that is down to whether or not Genie is open first. I've managed to get the thing loaded.....

I registered for you. How do you think he installed? How can he run without donating? Think before you write...

Anyway I also have same problem. But It's working I guess. Didn't check too much.

hey i donated and downloaded genie 13 and it comes up with the same sort of messages and i can load my game but every player comes from slovenia and have names like c'Qndg', @qhrisicdr and play for clubs like souths utd. also there stats are 25% 20's and dont exist on the game (obviously i didnt look for them by there name). some please help.

naughtymunky - put your key in a safe place, then uninstall genie scout and delete the genie scout 13g folder under C:. Download genie scout (version b333) again from the last e-mail Eugene sent you, install, and then put your key back in the new genie scout 13g folder. This should resolve your problems.

halfsweed - have you changed your computer or operating system, e.g. installed Windows 8, in the last month?

Hi guys, i've donated and have same problem. All the names are weird and it doesn't work properly. Comes up at start saying no key file? Then comes up and Says corrupted?

Any Advice?

Also getting FMGenieScout.exe is corrupted and then when I try to load it doesn't let me choose a file, but goes straight to loading. During the loading process it comes up with the attached screenshot. If the load goes through, all players are doubledutch and play in strange teams.

I have reinstalled, redownloaded, removed the key, added, redownloaded...

Is there a solution for this? I can't find anybody giving one in this forum.
