Press conference at the Emirates

Arsené Wenger:
Good afternoon, and thank you for coming. I have called this press conference to announce that today afternoon I handed in my resignation as the manager of Arsenal to the board.
The press are shocked, and Wenger continues before there is any discussion or questions asked.
Arsené Wenger:
Initally, the board disagreed with my reasoning, but I managed to convince them. For the last seven years, we haven't won a trophy and that is a big failure for a club of Arsenal's stature. I've done some thinking and have come to the conclusion that we need a change in philosophy. It is because I love the club so much that I have come to this decision. I thank all the fans and all the former and current players of Arsenal. The last sixteen years have truly been the best of my life. I wish the club the best of luck in the future and hope my successor can take this club to the next level. Once again, I thank everyone.

Hello guys. I joined FMScout only a couple of months before FM13 released, so I didn't really have the time to do a proper story. I've been dying to get a long-term save on FM13 but the weird match engine makes it frustrating. So, I've made a story which will hopefully motivate me to play a longer save and also give you guys some fun reading.
Arsenal haven't had success in a while for a club their size so my objective will be to hopefully put something in that empty trophy cabinet over at the Emirates.
I think that empty trophy cabinet will be filled up soon enough!
In real life though... nah
It's not completely empty, the huge spider named "Nessie" is in there

Boredom
I sat around at home on the sofa, kicking a football at the wall. I tried to hit one in the top corner. I did manage to hit the target, but the ball also ended up falling on top of a lamp and knocking it down.
I sighed. At least my wife wasn't home.
I retired from my career as a footballer, and now I had absolutely nothing to do. Boredom was killing me.
I heard the doorbell ring. I stretched and I could barely reach the button of the security system. I was getting fat, since I had absolutely no work to do.
"Who is it?" I asked.
"Hello Mr. Cannavaro. It's Giuseppe, your agent." said the voice from the machine.
I got off the couch and unlocked the door.
Giuseppe came in and put his coat and hat on the rack.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Well, you've got three more modeling offers."
I buried my face in my hands. I only ever did modeling to earn extra cash. I hated being in front of the camera.
"No more modeling." I said in disgust.
"You've got to do something! Or else, I'm out of work!"
"I know, I know." I said reassuringly.
"Why don't you get a coaching job, eh? You'd be a great defending coach."
"I don't think coaching is really my thing. I'd only get paid a couple of thousands a month and that's not really worth uprooting my family and moving somewhere else."
"Okay, what about being a manager? You've got those badges, might as well make some use of them?"
"Are you mental? I'm not even going to get a job in Serie B. I don't even know why I got those badges."
"You'd be surprised at what jobs someone with your reputation could get. Besides, even the best managers had to start somewhere, right? Anyway, I've got to go now, I'll let you know as soon as anything opens up."
And then he ends up at Arsenal, I s'pose

I was on my couch again watching old football games. It had been a week or so since my agent went hunting for a job for me, and so far, no good news.
My BlackBerry vibrated on the table. I picked it up and answered the call.
"Hey Fabio. It's G."
"Hey. Any news?"
"I wouldn't have called you if there wasn't, now would I? I've got you an interview for a big job, and if you don't make an idiot out of yourself, there's a good chance you can get it."
"Which club?" I asked.
"It's probably bigger than you would have wanted, but it throws you into the spotlight straight away. It's a good pay package too."
"WHICH CLUB?" I repeated myself.
"Calm down, I'll tell you." said G, as he laughed. "The club that wants you is....Arsenal."
I was shocked. It was probably just a cruel joke. Surely, the Arsenal, atleast the one in London, wouldn't be interested in me. They've got Arsené Wenger, for god's sake.
"Which Arsenal do you mean? Arsenal di Sarandi or whatever in Argentina?"
"No, you idiot. I mean the Arsenal in London. Arsené Wenger has resigned and the job is up for grabs. You game?"
"This isn't some sick joke, is it?" I asked.
"Nope. 100% true. So, tell me, are you interested?" he asked.
"What kind of question is that? OF COURSE I AM!" I shouted.
"Good. I'm already over in London, so grab the first flight and meet me there. Ciao."
"Ciao." I said, as I hung up.
"Arsenal." I said to myself as I looked up at the ceiling, and went deep into thought.

Don't care about Arsenal in real life, but hopefully I can get some trophies in game though.
