I have made some changes in the Editor but when i go to the main game to make a new career i dont have the option to select the new database, anyone able to help?

I've had that issue.
Move all of your Data Editor files into a editor data folder within games - then it'll load up.
When you start a new game and the screen comes up that says CHOOSE DATABASE, it says database with a drop down box and author and version etc.. there is a bit at the bottom of the window that says EDITOR DATA FILES and something like 1 enabled (4 in total) then a check box to the right that says CHANGE. just tick the box and click OK, it will then take you to another screen where you should see your edited data files tick the file you have created in the editor and untick the ones you dont want to load and click ok, and it will work.
