I am entered in the FMScout Cup but currently do not have a team to use (due to soon taking over FMScout FC) and need to start a save soon.

I now my group are using teams such as Manchester United, so I want to use a fairly good team, but not Barcelona or Real Madrid, the very very best. Any ideas for a good team, in any league I don't care. Thank you.

And sorry, I know this isn't a manager story... just yet. ;)

I'd take Dortmund over Bayern. Especially over Manchester United (hypothetically) because United is a very attacking team. It would be very easy for you to take Dortmund, plug his attack with 5 defenders and you already have a DM in Sven Bender (i.e. play defensively) and then just exploit his lousy defense.

Juventus might also be a good shout, but only if you know how to use Pirlo properly

Decided to take Dortmund, thanks for the suggestion :)

I'd definitely recommend getting one more top class defender and play super-defensively. I find that people generally don't know how to deal with a good counter-attacking formation, and, with either Götze, maybe Leitner, and Gündogan up front, you shouldn't have any problems whatsoever tearing anyone apart.

Defense is one of the most undervalued areas of FM, if you can play with it, or against it, you're going to do very well online

What you will find with Dortmund is that most of your best players will be on holiday until just a few days before your first match

Not the worst thing in the world. I can think of many more...

say, having Carlos Tevez on your team... or rather... on the green XP
