I hadn't read this story in quite a while...but, it's just awesome!
The King Returns Home: Goodbye and Hello
I'm a huge Arsenal fan and of course I love Thierry Henry so this save is about him taking over from wenger.
Just great mate. Congrats on ALL cup wins. I think that you do need to move on, because this is too easy!
Transfers
We have been very very busy in the summer transfer window and we have spent a lot of money this summer.
Here are our signings:
Hatem Ben Afra
The skillful Frenchman wanted out at Man City as he was constantly being played in the reserves. I couldn't allow such a wonderful player to be wasted so I contacted my good friend Mancini and made a transfer bid and it was accepted.

Isco
The young genius will very soon replace Xavi in the Spanish natural squad. He's got wicked vision, skill and he's only 22. He will be one of the worlds best players in the future. Isco was looking for a bigger club than his previous, Malaga.

Mario Balotelli
Mr 'Why always me' himself is now an Arsenal player. I need a young yet fierce striker and immediately I knew I had to get Balotelli. He is only 23 years of age and still has a lot of time to develop. Mario recently joined AC Milan but was quick to accept our contract offer.

Frank Lampard
Frank Lampard has been signed on a free transfer to add some experience to our midfield. We have many young midfielders so I felt I need someone with experience. That's when I noticed Frank was a free transfer so I offered him a contract and he accepted.

Departures
Suarez has left the club and has joined Manchester City. He's starting to age therefore I felt it would be smart to sell him and get as much money as possible from him. We wish him all the best.

Victor Moses
Victor is no longer needed at the club since we signed Isco. We already have Chamberlain and Walcott on the wings. Moses has now joined Liverpool and we wish him all the best.

Phil Jagielka
Phil has been allowed to join Newcastle United. In the squad we already have Varane and Vidic so we could afford to let him go. He has done so much for the club and we wish him all the best.

David Beckham
My good friend Becks has asked if his contract can be mutually terminated and I accepted. He wants to retire from football however he's not so keen in joining the world of management despite me constantly trying to encourage him to. We wish him all the best in whatever he chooses to do next.

Henry turns down Los Blancos

Thierry Henry has turned down the chance to manage Real Madrid. Reports from Marca say that Real offered Henry a contract worth 92,000, 1,000 less than he's currently earning at Arsenal. Kloop has been sacked after Real had a poor season. Henry is said to have rejected the offer due to the fact that the last time he left the club, they turned into a complete laughing stock and he felt the pain, he doesn't want to feel that pain anymore.
Henry has released a statement on why he rejected Madrid.
"Real Madrid is a great club, no doubt about that. They're probably in the to 3 teams in the world but I just had to turn them down. I'm creating something here at Arsenal, last season we won 7 trophies. That's great but the job is far from done. We want to be the youngest feared side in the history. We want to prove that you can do a lot with kids as in the past the club has been accused of wasting their time with kids. The main reason why I rejected Madrid is because that would mean I would have to leave home again. The first time I left I spent 3 or 4 years feeling the pain the fans and players and Arsene was going through. I left and suddenly everyone else started leaving and the club started to fall apart. I don't want that to happen again."

The Three Lions
Arsenal manager Thierry Henry has accepted an offer from the FA to be the new manager of then England national team. The former manager Roy Hodgson stepped down for unknown reasons ans England were very quick to contact Henry.
It will be interesting to see how Henry does as England boss.

The Three Lions

My first match as England manager took place last night at Wembley Stadium. The atmosphere was amazing and I received a warm welcome from the England fans despite the fact that I'm French.
The main talk of the night was who would be in my starting line up. Gary Neville and I talked for a long time and we finally came up with a starting lineup:

Chile had a very strong lineup and it would be interesting to see how they played.
FIRST HALF:
The first half saw us go into half time with a 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Smalling, Carrick and Theo Walcott. We were totally dominating and it seemed like the tactic I use with Arsenal was working.
SECOND HALF:
The second saw Chile pull one goal back through Alexis Sanchez. I used the second half as a chance to test out a few players. The game ended 3-1. A well deserved victory for the three lions!

Arsenal win community shield again

Arsenal FC have beaten Liverpool 1-0 to win the community shield for the second time in a row. Their new signing Hatem Ben Afra scored the winner in the first half late into stoppage time. Arsenal winning this trophy means they have won 11 trophies in 3 seasons, which is simply astonishing.
Henry had a few words to say after the game
" Good win, we've won another trophy which is very nice but now we must focus on the new season ahead"

New season, New captain

Chairman Peter Hill Wood released this statement earlier in a press conference.
"We are proud to announce that Jack Wilshere is the new captain of Arsenal football club following the departure of David Beckham. Jack will also be our long term captain and the board see him as captain for many many years. Being captain of a club such as Arsenal is not an easy thing, especially considering how successful we have been in the past 3 seasons as we have won 11 trophies in total. However we believe Jack Wilshere has the capability and determination to relish in this role. When our manager Thierry Henry told us that he wanted Jack to be the new captain of the club the board were very scared. We remembered what happened to Thomas Vermaelen, a great player he was and still is but once we gave him the captain's armband he just couldn't hadnle the pressure. This lead to poor performances and him being sold. We respect Henry's decision and we hope the same does not repeat itself."
Jack Wilshere, the new captain, was also present at the press conference. He couldn't stop smiling. Here's what he had to say...
" First of all I would like to thank my manager and the board for giving me such a wonderful opportunity to be captain of such a brilliant club, I really appreciate it. Mr. Henry, a.k.a the king, has really developed me as a player. He has taught me that on the pitch I must calm down and I shouldn't be so hot-headed as it can get me into trouble. Listening to that alone has improved my game massively. I promised to put in 110% in all my performances, I promise to encourage others and help others and I promise that I, with the help of my teammates and Mr. Henry will lead this club to even more glory, thank you very much."
Our first game of the season is against Wigan at the Emirates. Let's see how Wilshere and the lads do. To get your tickets call up the ticket office or buy online in the Online tickets section.
The Three Lions

David Beckham: Good evening and welcome to The Reliant stadium. We're bringing you live coverage of the USA vs England game which is takinh place here in Houston, Texas.
Let's take a look at the lineups.
England: Joe Hart, Phil Jones, James Tomkins, Ryan Shawcross, Kieran Gibbs, Tom Cleverley, Tom Huddlestone, Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere, Oxlade Chamberlain, Wayne Rooney
USA: Tim Howard, Charles Bell, Oguchi Onyewu, Geoff Cameron, Daniel Williams, J Spector, A Bedoya, T Chandler, Clint Dempsey, Brek Shea, Jozey Altidore
The majority of the England team is made up of Arsenal players. England and Arsenal manager Henry must have a lot of faith in his boys.
We're a few minutes away from kick-off. The players are currently in the tunnel.
And we're off, USA to kick off
9: Jack Wilshere drives at the USA defenders....oh what a ferocious shot that was, but a brilliant save from Howard to deny the Arsenal captain.
10: Walcott crosses the ball to Chamberlain, Chamberlain with his first touch lobs it over a USA defender, Wilshere chest the ball and scores! What a beautiful goal, three Arsenal boys combined their to score the first goal. Credit to Chamberlain for the beautiful pass.
22: Rooney to Wilshere now to Cleverley, Wilshere has made a brilliant run here and Tom has found him with an even better pass, Wilshere one on one with the keeper. He goes round him before smashing the ball into the net. 2-0 here! Wilshere with a brace! I can tell you that boy is brilliant and humble. I taught him a few things while I was playing at Arsenal.
37: Altidore now with the ball, tries his luck from far out! What a finish that is, Joe Hart was totally beaten! 2-1.
90: The final score here 2-1. The first half was very lively but the second half was very dull, both teams were just playing keep ball and the game was definitely won in the first half.
Man of the match: Jack Wilshere, he was astonishing today showing passion and determination, also clever thinking.
Congrats on becoming England manager.Judging by that England game, Wilshere looks amazing. Also those are some fantastic signings. Good move to sell Suarez, just the right time. Keep up the good work
