Final Month Of The Season

After finding out that they will win the league regardless Leverkusen took their feet of the gas and played their reserve team in preperation for the German Cup Final in two weeks time. A season to renember for Leverkusen :)

Not the greatest of months but congrats on winning the league!:D

Build Up Of To The German Cup Final

Jurgen Klopp is one not very well known for his attempt of mind games but on the eve of the German Cup Final the gloves have came off as Klopp came on record to claim Leverkusne's playing style is not enjoyable.

A clearly annoyed Joshua Bean replied with a short and simple, " We are the league champions we obviously play the right style of football." It is obvious this won't be the last we hear from these two.

Leverkusen Win The German Cup To Claim Famous Double

Another stunning result for Leverkusen in a season that will be renembered for a long time by Leverkusen fans, they have won the German Cup to claim the double!

End Of Season Reveiw

A season that will not be forgotten any time soon by the Leverkusen fans. They started this season expecting to just challange for top four in the league, but came away with the title. To get to the semi-fianls of the German Cup but won it and finally to get to the quater-finals of the Europa League but got to the semi-finals and only lost on agg by one goal.

In the pre-season it will be Bean's job to keep the players feet firmly on the ground if they are wanting to repeat this season but to improtantky stregthen during the transfer window.

The coming years have much potential for Leverkusen fans!
Brilliant! Congratulations on both the league and the cup! What an awesome first season.

My thoughts exactly mate!

Leverkusen Announce Plans To Upgrade Their Youth Facilities

Once a very well pundit claimed you could not win anything with kids. Many people disagreed and it was proven that very season that you can win with kids, clubs such as Ajax have shown over the decades that youth is just as reliable as transfers if you nurture them right and help them reach their potential ability. Even if these players then go onto other clubs the bottom line is you get a player for very little and can sell him for loads just several years later. So financially it is a sound way forward but not only that there is less chance of players flopping if they come from the youth ranks as the coaching staff are already aware of his ability.

This is now the road Bean is trying to take Laverkusen down. Just several weeks after winning the league and German Cup, Bean announced that he had persuaded to the board to improve the youth facilities to try and get the best they can out of the youth they have.

Opening Of The Transfer Window Leads To Flurry Of Transfers For Leverkusen

Bean has continued down the path of youth by signing sevral youngsters which his scouts have promised have great potential.

Robert Andrich:A youngster that Bean has taken a punt on. Bean signed this youngster from the on a free transfer with the hope he can become a vital first team player in the future. This would be a great success story if it works, if it does not work then neither party will be missing out much.

A player with decent PA.

Amadou Kouakou:A very young player but he has the potential to become one of the best central defenders in thw world if Bean and his coaching staff can nurture him in the right way. A player who already has outstanding physical attributes when he reaches his max potential he could become a beast in defense.

A player with outstanding potential.

Maicol Frontino:A player with sensational potential and is most likely the long term replacement for Keibling when he eventually leaves as Keibling is now 29. However Laverkusen already have 19 year old Milik who has the same PA as Frontino. A clever idea by Bean to have two top quality youngsters so even if one flops he knows t least one will become a world beater.

Lucas Dubreuil:A youngster with world class ability. His physical attributes is what stands out, his pace and acceleration and such a young age will impress the Lerverkusen scouts and coaching staff. A player that has the potential to be a world beater.

Gabriel D'Isidoro:Possibly the best youngster Bean has singed thus far. Gabriel's physical stats such as stamina, pace and workrate is sensational for someone of such a young age. If he reaches his expected potential he will make a quality defense with Lucas Dubreuil and Amadou Kouakou.
