Henry reaches 200 games

Former Arsenal manager and present Chelsea manager Thierry Henry celebrated his 200th game in his managerial career against West Brom. The Frenchman will be pleased that his side managed to win against West Brom to add to the celebrations.

Henry started off his managerial career at Arsenal FC. A team he spent many years at as a player. In his first season he managed to end the horrible 7 year trophy drought the club was suffering from. However he didn't stop there as he went on to win the treble. That season Henry won the capital one cup, the fa cup and the prestigious champions league. His second season is a season he and many football fans will remember forever as it saw his Arsenal side not only conquer Europe by winning the champions league and super cup but conquering the world as well by winning the world club championship. Henry and Arsenal went on to win the premier league, fa cup, capital one cup and community shield. 7 trophies in one season. Arsenal were unstoppable. In Henry's third and final season at Arsenal he won the treble again. Arsenal lost to Man United in the super cup final but that didn't really matter to Henry as he saw his side win the premier league, community shield and capital one cup.


Unfortunately Henry and the board fell out as he claimed that the board used him and were looking to dump him. This upset Henry leading to his resignation. Henry was unemployed for a month and was enjoying the little break from his managing career when he got two offers. One from United and one from Chelsea. Henry stated in an interview with sky sports that the reason why he turned down United and accepted Chelsea was because the rivalry between them and his former club was too much and it would be disrespectful to do ''a van persie''. Henry knew Chelsea were also Arsenal's rivals but he knew the fans would prefer him joining Chelsea than joining Arsenal. Henry also stated remarkably that if he had joined United, their red kit would remind him too much of Arsenal and he would constantly be emotional remembering the memories of Arsenal FC each time United play.

To mark his landmark the Chelsea chairman allowed Henry to change the club kit to whatever he liked. We can now confirm that Chelsea's sponsors are no longer Samsung but they're back to Fly Emirates. Did Henry change this due to the fact that Arsenal's sponsors are also Fly Emirates? We have the pictures of the new kits which will debut in Chelsea's fixture vs Swansea.



Henry has taken a lot of credit for the new kits but has praised his friend who goes by the name of Justice for designing such marvelous kits. The three kits are now available in sports retailers.

The 24 year old Brazilian Oscar dos Santos Emboaba Júnior celebrated his 100th cap for Chelsea in their 5-2 victory over Swansea at Stamford Bridge. This is a remarkable achievement for such a young player.

Oscar joined Chelsea from Internacional for 21.5 m after the 2012 London Olympics were he impressed many viewers.He made a total of 36 appearances for them before moving to England. At that time the competition was very hot for him but Chelsea managed to sign him. He has spent most of his playing time in his motherland Brazil as before playing for Internacional he played for the famous club Sao Paulo for 8 years but mainly there youth team and reserves as he only made 11 senior appearances for them.

Oscar has spoken to our reporter Vinny O'conor about making 100 appearances for The Blues

"It is a great honor to be able to make a total of 100 appearances for a club like Chelsea at such a young age. I'm very happy at the club and I want to thank everyone has been supporting me from the day I started my Chelsea career. This is the first club I've ever played 100 times for and hopefully I can go up to 150, 200 and even more just like Frank Lampard."

Our first game in October was against the Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow in the Europa league. We knew this would be somewhat a tricky away game but it turned out to be the complete opposite. The fans were loud and at one point I thought we were in Stamford Bridge until I saw the red flares. We won the game 4-1, Luiz, Ramires, Lewandowski and Chamberlain with our goals.

A great away win over Liverpool, especially as many of their players kept taunting us on and off the pitch. We are still at the top of the league.

Finally after two away fixtures, we had a home game. The home fans were excited, everyone will be excited. We defeated Sunderland 3-1, a great team performance.


Next up was a tough fixture against M. Tel-Aviv. They are a good side and it was a brilliant match to watch as we drew 3-3.

Brighton certainly showed up today giving us a very tough match. We managed to beat them narrowly, but a win is a win, we're through to the next round.



In the premier league we are still first place but we've managed to extend the lead at the top to 5 points. We've been brilliant in our first 10 games and hopefully this will continue. Next month we face Arsenal at the Emirates. It will be my first time back since I left, I don't know what to expect....






My player of the month, Oxlade Chamberlain, he constantly uses his pace to destroy teams defenses.
