David Beckham: From Hero to Zero

Earlier today in a press conference after his sides 3-0 win over Grenada, Henry was asked about his relationship with Aston Villa manager David Beckham, from what we can see the two of them get along very well.

Here is what Henry said in his press-conference.

'' Ah, David yes we are very close and we're good friends. From time to time when we're less busy we do talk to each other on the phone and we discuss football, tactics etc. He's a brilliant guy and a brilliant manager. His work at Aston Villa is just evidence of his skills when it comes to managing. At one point Aston Villa were said to be definitely going down and being related. Beckham kept faith in his players and now look, they won the Europa league. Tell me anyone who believed Villa could win such a major competition nobody.''

When Henry was asked about Beckham's future he shocked many people.

'' You want what I honestly think. I respect David's decision to reject Dortmund but I think if Arsenal comes for him he's got to move. Now many will say I'm saying this because they're my favorite club, no. Beckham has proved wonders with a small club like Villa, he deserves more, he has to go and conquer the world.''

We are eager to see how David will respond to Henry's kind and influential words.

Bienvenido de nuevo Raul y Xabi

Real Madrid have confirmed the signings of Xabi Alonso and the legendary striker Raul........as coaches. This has pleased many of the Los Blancos fans as both players really helped the club during their playing time.

The legendary Raul played for Madrid for a shocking total of 18 years. He actually started of his career at Madrid's rivals Athletico but failed to impress. Raul made a staggering 713 appearances for Los Blancos scoring 324 goals. In his time he was said to be one of the greatest strikers ever and is said to be the greatest striker to ever play for Madrid without a doubt. For his country, Spain he made 102 appearances scoring 44 goals. You can see why Henry hired him as he has tons of experience. It will be interesting to see if Raul will have any impact on Madrid's striking force. Especially as their main striker is the young Ocampos who is only 22 years old.

Xabi Alonso is also a legend himself but is mainly known for his playing time at Liverpool were he spent 6 years. Making a total of 143 appearances before he was sold to Real Madrid where he made 180 appearances scoring 10 goals. During his playing time he was known to be one of the best defensive midfielders the world has ever seen. Alonso made 114 appearances for Spain scoring a total of 14 goals. He has lifted the world cup and European cup with them. The Spaniard just recently retired and hopefully he can use his experience to help out Madrid.

Reports from Marca say that both Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos have signed new contracts with the club. This suggests both players will finish their playing careers at the club as both are in their 30's.
Alonso spent 9 years at Liverpool? Really? :O

Great update Seni, the hiring of Raul and Alonso as Coachs should really help the development of the players. Lucas and Varane should be a great base for the club as they are reaching their peak years in football and both are World-Class! Great job beating Valencia, they're a tough side, almost as good as Barca. Keep up the great story Seni, and remember, HALA MADRID! :D

October, a great month

October has certainly been a great month for the team. We are still unbeaten in all competitions. Surprisingly, La Liga seems to be a lot tougher than the premier league as the tempo is a lot quicker and the players are a lot more skillful. Many think La Liga is just Barcelona and Real but that's not the case.

Cristiano has been brilliant for us, he's scoring for fun. At first I had a few issues with him over his behavior and pompous attitude but we spoke about it, he scrapped it and its really helping him as a player. He also just signed a contract extension too which is nice. Also Wanyama has been a rock in the midfield dictating play. Next month we've two derby matches. One vs Athletico and then the El Classico. The only problem I have is the fact that Barca are 5 points ahead of that, but I feel we can sort that out easily.

Here are the fixtures we played.

Ronaldo is on fire! :O Great signings in Raul and Alonso, they will be great coaches :)
