Since my Stockport save crashed I decided to scrap it and begin a different save.

The Idea- To sell as much of the squad as possible before the season opener and try build a new team. A simple idea which hopefully will be fun to do, It will either mean that I ruin the club, or give them a new look :)

I am undecided of who to be but will take a look now
Cool idea, good luck with it.
So i decided for Spurs, seeing as they have a big squad with a lot on huge wages. It will hopefully give me a lot of room to work with in the transfer market :D

Here's what it looks like so far. I think we will have a horrible start to the season as we will have a mini squad ;) This probably won't work but i'll give it a go.

So we are now finished pre-season.

And we look like we are finished our wheeling and dealing. I put everyone up for sale and managed to sell 8 players brining in 47.5 million.

Players sold- William Gallas 925k
Asou - Ekotto 7.5m
Thomas Carrol loan
Michael Dawson 5.5m
Kyle Naughton 3.4m
Younes Kaboul 12.25m
Sandro 12.5m
Jake Livermore 5.75m

I had others such as Bale up for sale but only clubs like United would put offers in and the majority of the offer was a future fee. Other players such as Defoe, Scott Parker and Adeboyor snubbed the club that wanted them. So the following are the players I brought in. The club is still short in some positions which unfortunatly I will have to put up with.

Players Bought- Raul Albiol 7m
Tony Alberweireld 15.5m
Robert Lewandowski 40m (Future fees)
Leigton Baines 22.5m (Future fees)
Ben Arfa 35m (Future fees)
Anderson (Season Loan)
Kolarov (Season Loan)

Some transfers were probably overpaid but I had the money and desperatly wanted to land them! The 3 big signings were mostly signed on future fees so there is still a bit left in the kitty. I had 73mil to use when everyone left so we shall see how we get on :)

Preferred Starting Lineup

So as I stated before, The squad is quite small considering we are also in the Euro Cup. so lets run through the lineup.

Hugo Lloris - Solid keeper, very happy with him and Brad freidel as an alternative.

Kyle Walker - Our only natural right back in the squad. Good player to have and fits into the way I want the team to play well.

Baines - Great signing, much needed after the squad clearence. Great going forward too.

Alberweireld/Vertonghan - Solid defenders former Ajax teammates rejoined.

Cleverely/Parker - Parker will be doing the dirty work in midfield while Tom cleverly will have a licence to get forward and help with the attack.

Bale/Lennon - Pacey players which grab lots of Goals and assists, will be vital for me this season.

Ben Arfa - A skillful player brought in to chip in with the goals.

Lewandowski - The main man up top. Expecting him to score lots of goals with the 40mil tag he will be now associated with.

August

Spurs vs Wigan Athletic 1-1
Jan Vertonghan

A disapointing start to the season as Spurs could only pick up a point at home to the Latics. Vertonghan's free kick earned Spurs a point after an early Boyce goal gave Wigan the lead.

QPR vs Spurs 0-3
Robert Lewandowski
Scott Parker
Gareth Bale

A great away preformance gave Byrne's men their first win of the season. A first goal of his career in english football for Lewandowski was the main highlight of the game.

Spurs vs Everton 2-1
Jermaine Defoe
Alexander Kolorov

A hard fought win against the toffees confirmed that Spurs would end the month undefeated. Goals from Jermaine Defoe and Kolorov gave the Londoners the points.

Table

Spurs sit second in the table with 7 points out of a possible 9
I can't say I am a fan of using monthly installments in order to buy players - it adds a sense of unrealism to the game. However, it is your save so it is entirely up to you how you play. I will be following nonetheless.

I wouldn't usually use monthly installments but the idea was to try and buy a new squad or at least give the team a new look before the start of the season. I used to monthly installments to allow me to buy more players than I would be able to without paying one large sum. Ah well they better live up to what they cost me :p

Next Month's Fixtures

This Month's aims 5 Games and 3 competitions in the next month will be a tough task for the lads. I would settle for 6 points out of a possible 9 in the league considering we have City away, 3 points in europe and our place in the next round of the cup.

Euro Cup Group

It was branded an easy group and to be honest I have no complaints. Only thing I am worried about the Euro Cup is fixture congestion.

September

Spurs 0-1 West Brom

An unwanted start to the month has the baggies left White Hart Lane with all the points. An early James Morrison strike was enough to see off Spurs who will be wondering how they did not take at least 1 point from the game.

Spurs 3-1 Molde (Euro Cup)

Spurs got back to winning ways with a comfortable win vs Norwegian side Molde. Goals from Gareth Bale and Tom Huddelstone have got the Londoners European campaign off to a flyer.

Man City 3-0 Spurs

The Blues strolled to success against a tired looking Spurs team. Byrne's men never got out of first gear as City dominated the game from the first whistle to the last.

Nottm Forest 1-1 Spurs (Capital One Cup)

Spurs win 5-3 on penalties
A classic cup tie as the unfancied Nottm Forest almost caused an upset in front of their home fans. The match went to extra time where Simon cox gave Forest the lead before a Legigton baines equalizer brought the tie to penalties. Spurs went on to win 5-3

Sunderland 1-2 Spurs

A game full of drama as Spurs managed to finish the month with an away league win. Robert Lewandowski scored Spurs opener before a second half Adam Johnson strike leveled the tie. The match looked destined for a draw as substitute Adeboyor's penalty was saved. However he made up for his error with a powerful header which sent the away fans into a frenzy.

You're doing well with Spurs, CL qualification is on the cards!

You have a little error in your coding, hence why the post is off-set. Here is where your problem is:

October

SC Heereenveen 1-0 Tottenham (Euro Cup)

Fresher faces were brought in for the european game as Spurs slumped to an unexpected defeat. A Clint Dempsey red card proved to be the game's turning point as the men from Netherlands seized the initiative and gained all 3 points.

Tottenham 2-0 Reading

Spurs strolled to success and could afford to miss to penalties along the way vs Reading. Gareth Bale and Robert Lewandowski bagged the goals as the men from London continue to keep up with the Champions league contenders.

Fulham 2-2 Tottenham

A remarkable game which Tottenham feel they should have won. Fulham took the lead early on before Lewandowski leveled the game. He then added his second late on after Enoh was sent off for a second bookable offence. With the Spurs fans singing in the terrace, there was to be late drama as Kacaniklic managed to break the offside trap and slot it cooly past Lloris.

FC Kobenhavn 2-1 Tottenham (Euro Cup)

Another poor European away day as Spurs left empty handed from their trip to Denmark. Many players looked fatigued after the fast paced game at Craven Cottage 5 days beforehand. Has Spurs European adventure finished before it has even started?

Tottenham 4-0 West Ham

Byrne's men bounced back greatly with a thumping of West Ham in the London Derby. A brace from Gareth Bale and goals from Lewandowski and Parker gave Spurs the points. Their was almost a riot at one stage of the game and 3 West Ham players took an early bath!

Tottenham 2-1 Manchester United (Capital One Cup Rnd 4)

A great win for Spurs as they go marching on in the Cup! Antonia Valencia gave United the Lead in the first half. Jan Vertonghan then Inspired his team to the victory as the Centre back managed a second half brace.
