August 2012 – First Month In Professional Football

An unbelievable month for me personally, and an ok month for my team. As a team we won 1, drew 1, lost 1 and were knocked out of the Capital One Cup.

My personal performances have been to a decent standard but I know I can do and get much better. I started my first ever career game in the Capital One Cup defeat to Crewe, and despite the disappointment of going out I was delighted to make my first appearance and I got a rating of 6.4.

I then wasn’t included in the squad for the opening game of the season but have since started both games. I made my first league appearance against Portsmouth at The Keepmoat Stadium, and we played well as a team and I was given a rating of 6.7. And then 4 days later we travelled to Milton Keynes to take on the Dons and I was again handed a start, I personally feel my performance was my best yet despite the teams defeat and I was given a rating of 7.2, which was the second best for any of our players.
Real good idea and start mate! Keep it up!
Brilliant writing, I hope Calibri will reach the pinnacle of world football! :D

September 2012 – A Strange Month

September was a bit of a strange month, I started the month in the first team, missed a penalty in a shoot-out and haven’t appeared for the first team since. I have played a couple of games for the under 18’s and suffered my first injury but also scored my first goal.

I started the month in the first team again and starting another league game at home to Crewe, which finished 1-1 and I was relatively happy with my performance, finishing with a rating of 6.6. My final appearance for the first team came in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy N 1st Round, the team made it through to the 2nd round, but I had a disappointing 120 minutes on the pitch which was made worse by missing my penalty in the shoot-out, I was given a rating of 6.2.

Since then I have played 4 times for the Doncaster under 18 team, and for the first 3 games was very disappointing, especially after appearing for the first team this year. I was also forced off in the game against Rotherham, when I suffered bruised ribs which kept me out for about a week. I then returned as a sub against Newcastle, and the month was rounded off with a great team performance in a 3-0 win against Gateshead, where I scored my first goal and managed to create the other 2 goals, finishing with a rating of 7.5.

October 2012 – Another Strange Month

October has been really strange again for me, and it was made even worse by the man who signed me being sacked, after a bad run for the first team. I only played 17 minutes for the first team as a sub in the 2nd round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

I also played 2 matches for the under 18’s and feel my form is improving as both games I managed a rating of 7.1, despite the Club being knocked out of the FA Youth Cup in my first match in October.
Unlucky mate :( still, he's only young!
