"The best form of defending is attacking" - Roberto Carlos
Firstly, don't mind my grammar. English isn't my native language.
This formation tested on FM 13 version 13.3.3 with Southampton.
Plus:
- GOALS FRENZY
- High ball possession rate (up to 60% - 70% ball possession)
- Terrifying amount of Shots, On Targets, and Clear Cut Chance
- High Pass Completion stats (up to 85%)
Minus:
- A little vulnerable through wide attack, or against team that have world-class winger or wide midfielder. A match could be ended with high score like 5-3, or 4-2 (which is i don't mind, because i'm satisfied enough with win and attempts on attacks)
You can still use this tactic, make some tweaks, or you can use another tactic to prevent this vulnerability. Your call.

- IF right (attack): preferably left-footed, acceleration, pace, dribbling, off the ball, teamwork, passing (finishing+composure is great bonus) *tries killer balls often, cuts inside, plays one-twos

but,3 defs isn't my style. so i want to remake it to 4-2-3-1
I think the main thing with this tactic is it doesn't work against teams with a world class attack but if you can get your team used to playing like this and have a strong side you can go far with this tactic.
i lost 4 matches in a row...with Norwich, Wolves,QPR and Nottingham Forrest(Championship).
I have 43% possesion and my strikers are dissapointing
Sorry for my english
You did an amazing job here !
Currently trying with Real Madrid and absolutely DESTROYING teams with amazing scores (6-0 / 10-1 / 8-0 / 5-1 / 7-2 / etc..).
Will try to give feedback and screenshots at the end of the season
