Unfortunately the way this year's game works, we cannot have custom dynamic backgrounds per screen. The games uses some different backgrounds per licensed competition, shown the week before a match for this competition. So if you play at a licensed competition you will not see my background. If you want to only see the default one, I've included some different files down below.
For now, these skins are made differently from previous years and we cannot interfere/edit the UI, so there may be structural issues unrelated to the skin.
I think that using it without the game's update don't work. Please do the update via Steam's Beta Track and then apply this version.

For those that are playing the game on a Mac, there are reported problems in this platform, so use it at your own risk.
You can expect updates frequently when new things are being discovered. This is just the beggining of a new era.

Optional Files: If you do not want the dynamic backgrounds used by this year's FM for competitions like Premier League, EFL Competitions, Bundesliga and UEFA Competitions and you want to always use the "FIFA 15" background, there is a folder among the files you've downloaded. Just use these two files inside the folder over the others. Just do copy and paste.

How to install the AlexMorak FM26 Theme/Skin
- Download the file.
- Unzip the file.
- Locate the Game Directory: Navigate to your Football Manager installation directory.
The standard path for Windows is typically:
\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64\
And for Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 26/fm.app/Contents/Resources/Data/StreamingAssets/aa/StandaloneOSX
- Locate the original files in the game's data folder and make a backup copy before proceeding. The files are:
- ui-backgrounds_assets_.bundle
- ui-backgrounds_assets_common.bundle
- ui-match_assets_all.bundle
- ui-prematch-backgrounds_assets_common.bundle
- ui-styles_assets_common.bundle
- ui-styles_assets_default.bundle
- ui-styles_assets_match.bundle
- ui-tactics_assets_all.bundle
- ui-widgets_assets_all.bundle
- Copy and paste the files into the game directory. When asked, choose to overwrite/replace the existing files.

I actually meant fkd up the work you do, not the game itself, as you fix one thing only to get another issue after an update.
Keep it going mate, use your theme personally so lets hope it gets a little bit more easy to edit for everyonesc sake..

Though I disagree about SI fk it up with new updates. They are doing what have to be done. They are improving the game and I sincerely believe that.
What we are doing here it's not normal because we are editing game files not some xmls that go over the game files as previous. So... It all comes in the same package...
Your wasting your time mate, I made skins for year unti retiring, these early weeks are a nightmare to try and keep up in normal circumstances but this new version has more bugs than anything I have ever seen so you will find yourself changing things just for Si to fk it up again a few days/hours later.
It used to drive me mad, one of the reasons I stopped making skins, I would wait a while until it settles down.
Today I spent about 3 hours — with the help of many people here in the comments and my own community (I’m a content creator) — fixing errors and crashes that were caused.
Beyond that, the issue with Mac computers has been known for days (though I don’t know why exactly), where the game tends to have problems when mods are installed. I don’t use a Mac myself, so unfortunately I can’t provide much help there.
As for Windows, since I personally haven’t had any problems (after the fixes I made), I can’t identify the issue. The game update is now available to everyone, so the best thing to do is to download the latest version of my files and hope that everything will work.
If someone still experiences issues (on either Windows or Mac), I recommend trying the other two excellent themes/skins available for download here — or (unfortunately) verifying their game files to restore them to their original state.
It’s been quite a stressful day, and I’m afraid this will continue to happen in the future because of the frequent updates from SI.

@kapitanbaton No error from my side selecting the right version for the right game's version. If you are playing on a Mac, there is a disclaimer above, I cannot do anything, sorry.
@Arvid04: No corrupted files, of cource 9 edited files. As all the files here in this site. Verify your files to uninstall.
Please try to verify game files via Steam and then open the game as it is. Load your save and quit. Then put my files and see if it's ok. I don't know if this is the solution. We are a bit in the dark this year.
I don't have the issue that the topbar show only Item as names of the categories. Also I don't have the issue with info tags for players (wnt, yel, etc.)

About sortitoutsi's attribute colour changer I think that is based in previous update but besides that please don't use it because it changes the colour of the attributes differently. Please use the korean version that you can find SI's Skinning Hideout Forum: https://community.sports-interactive.com/forums/topic/595586-fm26-fm26-player-attribute-color-editor/ (sadly it's only for Windows I think)
