Eugene has been working on the new version for some time now, but I didn't want to make to put any pressure to him by making any announcements until now.
I have a screenshot for you that proves GS12 is under development and also reveals a new feature of the "g" edition, which is the one for people who donate.
I'll remind you here that the "g" edition is ad-free and has a few extra fancy features compared to the free edition.

We won't make any promises on the release date, but I can assure you it won't be as late as it was last year. Most likely we'll be able to release it during November, without knowing if it's gonna be early or late that month.
Important - How to get Genie Scout 12 earlier!
You must know that we are planning to make it available for download a bit earlier for our newsletter subscribers. Basically, if you are a verified subscriber of our newsletter, you will receive an email with the download link to the first Genie Scout 12 beta version a bit earlier than everyone else. How much earlier? Well, it could be for half a day or for two days. Once that time has passed, it will be available for free download on our site of course.
Why lose a single hour though? All you have to do is give us your email and confirm your subscription to our newsletter by clicking on the confirmation link in the email you'll receive.
SIGN UP TO FM SCOUT NEWSLETTER NOW
- We promise not to spam you and not to sell your email to anyone.
- We won't be sending you more than 4 emails per month, unless there's a special occasion such as Genie's release.
Likewise, every new GS12 version will be available to our newsletter subscribers earlier.

Is it possible to be made? I think it will be in great help of all FM players to find the right players for their teams and their style of play . Аnd also to see more easily the development of players and what the future holds qualitative
I apologize if my English is not good.
Tnx
can anyone tell us a release date? aproximally?
greate work eugene, this is perfect
You mean like the polygon thing?
@fjordland:
I'll try to work on some GS tutorials this year.
I have a proposal but I do not know if it is possible to achieve in this year's Genie Scout i guess that Stan can tell that to. So my proposal is this to be add a graphic of the players attributes like in the game next to the picture of every player and how he will develop when you select attributes change.
I think if you can do this is really cool and everyone will be able to choose the right players for his team.
I hope to get response soon.
Thanks for your understanding and patience
Come on Eugene, keep your well working.
Waiting from a message on feedrunner from this new tool
Greatings Eugene!
Every player in your save game should be. Just make sure you save again when that happens and load up your file in GS.
Do you know if the new youth intake squad will be available on GS12 much like the 1st team squad? i.e. new youth intake available in March, available to view stats on GS12 immediately?
I'd prefer an English version to be published here on fmscout.com if you don't mind.
Here's a link to know how i use GS with a mac. It's in French but don't hesitate to ask me if you don't understand, i'd try to help you.
However, GS has been around for years and it's world's most popular tool and for a replica to get on top of that it wouldn't be easy. Basically, nobody would dedicate time to create something that already exists and it's already great.
Thanks for your kind words mate, I appreciate your support
Nobody is perfect, so this site is no different. The problem is I'm one man show here when it comes to development and design, and in order to improve something you need to gain experience which needs time. In all honesty, I believe the site is bad at its current state; I have made so many mistakes in it.
On the bright side, it's important that I actually took the time to evaluate my work, admit my own mistakes and see how to fix them. I've been planning a new version since April and hopefully that will address most mistakes. I'm already too late in launching that, but trust me when I say it's by far superior than what we have now.
Is there any particular reason that nobody has replicated how good Genie is? Is Eugene just really good or is there more to it?
If it worked this way for you with GS11, you should be fine with GS12 too I reckon. Would you please care to write a brief tutorial about how you made it work?
I've got a mac and i used GS with X11 last year, will it be the same this year or only crossover will work? In this case, I just need to load crossover and then GS and i could use it?
Sorry for these questions but i never used crossover before..
Ty,
Jude.
I understand what you're saying, but trust me it's different this time around. For starters, we published the first news and screenshot about it. I'm also in constant contact with Eugene, which wasn't the case in previous years.
In fact I'd say GS12 first version should be out around midway this month.
I always pay Eugene for it(I would pay as much as the game itself) and I only ever play FM with it so I'm not complaining, but having a regular release schedule would help its marketability, although I know SI will likely never support it.
Looking forward to it.
Read again: "during November"
No. But hopefully you can get it to work via CrossOver or a similar app.
@Tosti:
Not many new 'fancy' features will appear compared to GS11 "g" edition. Main new feature is what you see on that screenshot. Eugene added 3 options: best, most promising, top cheaters. I believe the latter refers to quality players approachable at bargain prices.
