FM Scout Editor 2020 (FMSE20 for short) is a utility with powerful real time editing capabilities and some basic scouting features for Football Manager 2020. It currently works with Windows 7+ and the latest 20.4.4 Steam version of FM 2020, 20.4.1 of FM Touch 2020, 20.4.4 Epic Games version of FM 2020 and 20.4.1 Game Pass version of FM20.

FMSE Features

FMSE20 is packed with a plethora of options and running lightning fast. The focus is on the editing side of things. The scouting capabilities are limited. For more advanced scouting, it's recommended to try Genie Scout 20.

Important: The FMS Editor is free to download, install, use the scouting features and explore all the editing options. You will need a license in order to be able to save your edits.

Unsackable

Become unsackable! No matter what happens, the board will never fire you. Have no fear of getting sacked ever again!

Nation Editing

Edit Nation general data, teams, Kits and Agreements. For example, you can disable Brexit by adding England back to EU.

In-Game Assistant

See hidden player attributes, CA/PA & actual left/right foot values right in the game (attributes screen). This is an exclusive feature no other tool for Windows is offering!

Edit Club Finances

Edit all kinds of club finances, such as budgets, ticket prices, sugar daddy, sponsors, debts and more.

Edit Club Info

Fiddle with year founded, facilities, youth recruitment, morale, attendances.

Edit Players

A vast amount of player details can be edited, including value, all attributes, abilities, contract data, reputation, positions, preferred moves and so on. You can also heal injuries, destroy a player (fitness to 1%) and remove bans.

Freeze Player Attributes

You can now freeze attributes so they remain unaffected by CA, PA or training.

Edit Competitions

Extensive editing for competition, with more editable data than other real-time editor.

Edit Staff

Scout for and Edit Non-Playing staff like Coaches, Assistant Managers, etc.

Mass Edit Teams

Mass Edit Players, Staff, Clubs, Awards & Cities

Advanced Mass Edit dedicated panel you can access after selecting 2 or more entities in search results. Multi-select entities using Shift-click, Ctrl-click or click-drag.

How to use FMS Editor 20

Current version 3.2.1.6 is compatible with Steam and Game Pass for PC Windows editions only.

Unzip and install by running the .exe file.
Open Football Manager 2020 and load your saved game.
Open FMSE 2020.
Click on the load icon (small folder, top left).
Search for awards, cities, clubs, players...
Double-click on an item from the results.
A new window will pop-up and you can edit data there.
Once done editing click on the save icon (small disk, top left) for the changes to take effect.

**PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A BETA RELEASE. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.**
Please keep a backup of your save game before using FMSE 20 to edit your game’s data. AppCake Ltd and FMScout.com cannot be held liable for any corrupt game files, or any other issue caused by the use of FMSE 20. A backup will make sure that whatever happens, you will still have your saved game.

heyy, i have a problem with my FMSE20. why i can't edit facilities anymore?everytime i change the value of my club, the quality of facilities in game didnt change. i tried pressing continue in game, updating my FMSE, fyi, i'm using FM20 Touch version of the game.

Hi I used the editor just to test it out for FM2020 touch on my laptop and cross saved it to my ipad which I have linked up through Steam but it doesn't seem to carry the edited information across.

@Stam Thank you for the update, it was reaching the point I had thought you'd given up.

It is very frustrating to hear that the full Competition Editing can't be fixed. It was the main "key feature" FMSE offered which could not be achieved in any other editor.

I'm not sure what new feature could be added that would be as impactful. It would have to be something no other editor can offer and be something that can have as big an impact as editing competitions, I personally can't come up with any ideas for anything as big that FMSE doesn't already offer but maybe others can.

hello im having a big problem i purchased the license and did every thing IGA is a premium feature, so you need to have a license first. If you've got that, follow the steps outlined below.
Open FMSE and go to File > Options.
In the Game Documents field you need to browse to your FM20 user data folder. By default that is the following:
C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020
Tick the Enable IGA checkbox right below and click OK.
Open FM20 and go to Prefences > Interface.
Hit the Clear Cache button. Then return to the same screen and press the Reload Skin button.
Switch to FMSE20 and load your game.
Switch back to FM20 and go to any player's Attributes screen.
Failed to load football manager data: could not find a compatible Football Manager version im using the latest version

@Stam ive specifically asked the bank and they told me payment went through and i should talk to the seller which i sent an email still not a reply..

@inanc @berkunderpressure: The Fastspring service processes payments. If you got an error during payment, most likely money was put on hold by the bank until payment could be completed, and will become available to you again as soon as that hold expires.

@oranje31green: See this screenshot for things you can edit with a nation. You can't create a new nation.

@Shutty: This only happens with Frankfurt? Is that the team you're managing?

@tigrou: You can change date of birth. Check out this screenshot.

@progektmayhem: This post explains the process to activate the in-game assistant.

@Florian2905: Yes. A new license is needed for each cycle. So a license for FMSE20 won't work with FMSE21.

@Madness @bellidne: For the past 2 months I've kept messaging Thanos and asking on the status of the competition fix. Initially he was confident he'd wrap it up asap, and this is exactly what I'd write here as well. Sadly he has been unable to find the correct pointer which would finalize the fix and bring back the missing tab under competitions. And what's even worse is that he has spent enough time trying to feel like he should give up on that particular fix. Therefore I have suggested to him to work on some new features to make it up to you in a way.

@Stam I have the feeling by this stage that we are unlikely to ever see that final bug fix. I could be doing him a disservice but it feels like Thanos has given up completely.

At this point I definitely won't be using or supporting the FMSE in the future. Which is sad because I have always done so gladly prior to now.
