FM Social Scouting is launched!

I'm happy to announce the official launch of FM Social Scouting (FMSS for short)! We've come a long way and we are a year late, but it's finally ready for the world to use. A massive user-submitted database of real players in-game, featuring ratings, scout reports and screenshot uploads by members of fmscout.com. An online tool that was missing from the FM scene for many years.


What is FMSS?
This project aims to fill the gap between scout tools (such as Genie Scout) and in-game scouts, by providing a collaborative platform for FM enthusiasts where they can share their in-game experience on players. The more people contribute, the more accurate it gets. It's the one reference point you'll ever need in your FM stories and chats.

Our own database of real players
I have spent the last 2 weeks manually adding roughly 1800 real players to our database, so we can start with a solid base. If you can't find certain players, you can request for their addition. We're using basic data only which are not game exclusive, and we got permission from Sports Interactive to use wage and value data from their database.

For other exclusive game data such as player attributes, using screenshots is the only legal way to go. You can upload in-game screenshots for players without limits. We have implemented a special image upload system that auto-optimizes screenshots and hosting them on our server. And they don't even take up space in your personal file space.

Who can use it?
Anyone can use our special search engine to find players and access their profiles. However, if you want to be a scout and contribute to this project, you'll need a free fmscout.com member account. Join us today and let's scout together for the world to see!
