Iron Curtain database fully recreates the footballing world for anyone nostalgic about 3 foreign players rule which is re implemented throughout Europe. Western clubs won't replenish their squads with cheap Yugoslavs, Czechoslovaks, Pollocks, Hungarians... as they are all making their leagues national priority and they won't let anyone out of country until they are close to their 30's in search for football glory and communist superiority over decadent west.
Recreate legendary rivalries with eastern European countries in all international tournaments from u19, through World Cup and Olympic games.

After a bit of playing around, I discovered it was a clash with the winter update! Just in case anyone was having any issues!
sorry to hear that i just loaded the new game and it works fine. please check if you have all the core files - International competitions, European cups, USSR, CZE, EGER and YUG
In Yugoslavia's situation, the 1st league has: BASK, Hajduk Veljko, Kolubara (and so on);
URSS has: Arsenal Tula, Baltika, Dinamo Leninegrad (and so on). How do I get this to work, really?
Thank you, I really look forward to play this.
