FM 2024 Training Schedules - JonasMorais FM24 Training Schedules (Beta)

JonasMorais & FMScout Training Schedules

These schedules are designed to result in a steady attribute growth/improvement, and tactical familiarity and design to be mainly used in a Tiki Taka system or GenGen Press, although it will work very well for most systems with or without slight modifications.

After a game on a Sunday you will have to edit the next week schedule (Monday) to include a Match Review.

If a group of players wants more training in a certain category, simply edit the next 2 to 3 days and add that category’s blocks. This should be enough to make them happy again.

The Youth schedules are based on the Ajax TIPS Module and I usually use the Teamwork schedule a par with them.

Ideally for the best results set your teams training intensity to the same set up as the screenshot below shows.

Is there any reason why I COULDN'T import this into FM21??

Failing that, could I get a couple of specific screenshots?

@JonasMorais Could you make a training schedule for the weeks with games on Monday? I have several weeks with games on Mondays and I don't know exactly what calendar to use, thank you!

@JonasMorais Yea, the training intensity screenshot you put up wasn't "none - none - normal - double - double", it was "none - half - normal - normal - normal". Might want to update that. https://fmshots.com/images/2023/10/21/training-intensity-scheduling3b641a34b8c42e51.jpg

Bom dia, no sub-19 e sub--23 alternas os horários 1 por semana? Ex; youth speed 1 semana, youth technique 1 semana e continuando a alternar?

Lowchamp...it should be double i might have posted the wrong picture ill check and will update...

    should be:
    first 2 - double
    middle - normal
last 2 - no pitch or gym work

@JonasMorais is there a reason why you set training intensity to normal instead of double for the two greenest health bars? I have heard that double intensity is good for development

    @Lowchamp

Thats a great question, I have been thinking about possibly doing a video on how I use them , especially as I am a player that focus on player development and + 90% of the players I buy will be between 15 and 21 and try to promote as many players from within the club. So to use a example of my Beta save here’s how I am using it:
    U19 - only players age 15-17 - youth schedules
    U23 - only players age 18-20 - youth schedules
Benfica B - all players that are ready for the first team, aged 18-23 ,that wouldn’t have plenty of football in the first team - normal schedules + youth if the team is lacking on any areas

I usually try not to loan players out so I can control their development myself, for example at Benfica the B team plays in the equivalent to the championship in England. If a player starts to get unhappy then I’ll look for a loan move but with playing time of at least regular and always first league teams.

I try to keep the U19,U23 & B teams with 20/22 players tops, so if a player is not good enough to be promoted until determined age most likely I’ll be selling

@JonasMorais Obviously for first team I would use the main schedule and for U18 I would use the youth schedule, but would you also use the youth schedule for U21 or the main schedule?

@FJF it’s up to you, I mean, you can but for better results with development I advise use them all according to the match load.

@NPR I usually add the Team work one from the pre-season and use it as a fifth and rotate them as a 5 schedules regime.
  • NPR's avatar
@JonasMorais Oh my bad, I totally missed that it's a folder. So you just rotate the 4 schedules every week?

I usually use the Match Schedule option for Saturday and Wednesday games. So is it okay to use just 2 files, "Saturday Match" and "Wednesday and Saturday"?
Or do I need to change the match schedule option?

  • JonasMorais's avatar
@NPR It’s a folder with the 6 schedules so you will have to double click it to open… sometimes you might need a couple of tries, same happens to me in game.

The youth team one could not be loaded in.

@Nextgen as always people prefer diferent things, i have been using these with slight adjustments for 2 or 3 game editions and always had good results. The main idea with this was to give people a platform to start from.

This is great, I just think that rest days aren't useful compared to a recovery so the main issue with them removing the match prep options is finding a way to fill the rest days now for home games when you don't need a travel slot
