Football Manager 2026 Skins - Material Skin 26 by budwaiser4 - v2.2.5 - Windows and Mac versions - Works with update 26.3.0

The Material Skin is ready for you again this year!

It's based on the colors of the skin created for previous editions of the game, with the addition of a couple of custom backgrounds.

For now, this version is based on the game still in beta, so there may be structural issues unrelated to the skin.

I hope you like it, and if you'd like to support my work, I'd be very grateful.

If you'd like information on how to change any colors, DM me and I'll try to help you as much as I can.

To use the default attribute colors go to preferences -> details -> audio and video and choose preset 3 on "player attributes"

How to Install the Material Skin on FM 26

1. Extract the contents of the downloaded file
2. Locate the Game Directory: Navigate to your Football Manager installation directory.
The standard path for Windows is typically:

\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64\

And for Mac:

~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 26/fm.app/Contents/Resources/Data/StreamingAssets/aa/StandaloneOSX

3. Locate the original files (SEE ABOVE) in the game's data folder and make a backup copy before proceeding.

4. Copy and paste the files into the game directory. When asked, choose to overwrite/replace the existing files.

@SOA it's strange that skin causing crashing (i use name fix and faster startup) and i have no problem...maybe is the faster UI speed...try without it if it works

Don't know why but all skins seem to cause my game to crash but then works fine at times. Very frustrating to look at the horrible default skin.

Does this skin work with other mods? Ive got a few installed. (bassy boy stadiums, Newgan faces, faster UI speed, name fix). Ive removed all and installed one by one. But as soon as I install the skin the game crashes out when you try and load up the save. Game is up to date etc.

@phiruben can you send me a screenshot so i can tell you if you see it as it should be or smaller? I think however you see it how should be..it's small because otherwise it didn't fit in the skin

Hey man, thanks for the skin, looks very nice! I wonder, with this year's UI is it possible for a custom skin to show hidden attributes like CA/PA directly on the player attributes screen? (obviously with the IGE enabled)

the attribute polygon is really small for me. on the bottom left. is it an resoulotion issue?

@yart i try in my save and it works clicking on player mentioned for example in messages when it's possible to hovering on the name.

Do this:
On Steam, right-clicking on the game -> properties -> installed files -> and clicking the "verify integrity of game files" button. This will restore all the original game files. After that, re-insert the skin files (download latest version) and any other mods you used, such as no-fake

This also happens in the loan screen when pressing player names, squad screen where you look at your formation, basically anywhere the name highlights when hovered over

Hey uh I recently got this skin and first thing, this is amazing! Second thing, I've had one minor issue and not sure if it's just a me thing/it's already been addressed, but, in the messages screen and some other places when a player/staff/club/etc.'s name is mentioned, hovering over it highlights, but, for some reason, clicking it does nothing and right click + pressing player name doesn't work either and you have to go to a different page or just manually search to find that player's profile and it's rather inconvenient. Is this something that I've done wrong or an issue with the skin? Thanks

The buttons during the match don't contain referee information; that's what I meant.

@Dziubson it can be...tomorrow i try to enlarge the panels of the messages and check if the message appears again..it's the only language have this bug

@budwaiser4 yeah in english it's normal, I think it has something to do with a length of the last word in polish - I think it's too long and it breaks the window - I mean every word there is longer than in english version and there's no space for them

For example if I change the resolution to 1600x900 it's normal but it's a bit laggy and really uncomfortable to play on that resolution ;p

@Dziubson can you try to switch language for example in english and see if the messages appears? Because i don't touch nothing about languages... Are you on Windows or MAC? Have you also the latest version the skin? Have you tried to restore all the files before put the files of the skin?

Nervemind..i try to put polish language and the messages actually disappear...but it's really strange I have to investigate why
