This database takes you back to the 2006-07 season. Relive and change the history with some of the biggest legends of all time.

This is the full and complete database version. You can choose between 17 playable leagues in 15 nations!

Travel back in time to an era of football where some of the greatest players of all time roamed the world. This Football Manager 2020 throwback database brings back some epic teams, managers and players from around the world in the original leagues and teams from 2006/07. If you don't remember 2000's football, this is a great and fun opportunity to learn about an epic football era.

This is the 2006/07 season database. Everything in the FM20 database, has been reverted to 2006. All the leagues are as they where back in 2006, with all the teams from back then. So now you have the chance to train and coach all the legends from the beginning of the century, in the best football management simulation game ever. To get the full experience please read the instructions below.

I have researched for this DB for years, looking through old archives for stats, watching video material, talking to football historians. To be able to rate the player attributes as best as possible.

So jump into the FM Time-machine and travel back to 2006.

How to play Season 2006/07 on FM20

With Save-game
1. Move the downloaded file to your "games" folder:
Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2020/games

2. Open Football Manager 2020 > Load Game > Select the 2006-07 DB

3. Add your manager and select the club you want to manage.

With Database file
1. Move the downloaded file to your "editor data" folder:
Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2020/editor data

2. Open Football Manager 2020 > Start a new career > Select the "2006 07 DB 2.0" option from the top right drop down button with database version (20.4.0 Update)

3. Click on the "Advanced Setup" button to select the leagues of choice and database size settings.

hi people i couldnt get it to work on epic games version of the game does anyone know how to make it work? Im using windows not mac but it keeps saying no custom editor data on game setup

Someone has the db 06 07, modifying CA and PA, of wonderkids like Busquets, Pedro, Griezman ...?
I love this db, but seeing these wonderkids with such low potential makes it very unreal. Or see CR9 with finishing 10 ...

Hallo, i can see only bröndby IF and FC Copenhagen are the teams in denmark with players? are the me there make a mistake or is that only 2 teams in denmark?

@MadScientist - a very fun throw back save to play, thanks.

@Adrian510 - you can fix the Rooney/Derby issue by changing the database from "20.4.0" to "Football Manager 2020" from the Game Setup screen before creating a save.

I've found the problem, rooney is simultaneously in the Derby County roster for some reason and they've been selecting him to play on my game days and therefore i'm not able to select him on game days.

I'm having trouble with a bug with Rooney. Before every game, i'm unable to select him due to that he played for another team already that day. I haven't been able to use him for 8 games now.

Complete DB: Updated the thumbnail, download links and playable nations text. Final version has been released as of September 22nd.

MadScientist has already chosen the season he will recreate for FM21. We can expect a glorious 2001/02 DB next year!

The budgets of the clubs are poorly done. You can't buy anyone.
If there is an update, besides changing the budget, I noticed that Drogba is generally poorly done. In relation to other attackers, who were not so many '' beasts '', he was poorly done.
