Things Removed or Disabled in FM26

From previous dev blog updates, we know that Sports Interactive reviewed every single feature and screen in FM and made some cuts.

Either because those features turned redundant or because they require more time and resources to bring at desired standards.

As a result, certain features and modes won't be available in Football Manager 26, though some might return later on.

We have put together a table for your convenience, assuming what applied to FM25 will still apply to FM26, adjust FM versions by +1.

Removed or Disabled in FM26

What	Plan
Create-A-Club Mode	Will return in FM27, vastly improved
Versus Mode	Might be superseded by something else or return in different form
Challenge Mode	Scheduled to return revamped, either in FM27 or FM28
Fantasy Draft Mode	Will return much improved alongside the Main Data Update (?)
International Management Mode	Will return in a much more feature-rich way in 2026, and will remain playable on FM26 Mobile
Touchline Shouts Feature	Won't be back in the near future
Social Media Screen	All key info will still appear in other game areas, and supporters are still an integral part of the game
Data Chalkboard Tab	The chalkboard on player profiles became superfluous since Data Hub got introduced
Player's Weight Info	Basic measurement will still be included under the hood, but won't be visible

Now some of the information above are subject to change because they were announced prior to the cancellation of FM25 and remains to be confirmed how much of that applies to FM26.

This means there's a good chance to see the Fantasy Draft Mode be present in FM26 from the get-go.

FM fans also hoped to see International Management be part of the full-fat FM26 edition as well, considering the 1 year of additional time SI had to work with. However, initial in-game screenshots suggest otherwise.
