Now here is a can of worms, many people decide to use the editor so it is used fairly often, but one of my points is: does editing from the beginning, hinder the overall football manager experience? Personally I think from the beginning it does as technically you are not playing the game as it was originally mean to be played, and effectively are tampering with the game to make it easier (in most cases). But then again it can help someone create scenarios regarding their club or any club. They can make the game almost a new game with the changes that you can make to the database.
I could talk for a long long time about pros and cons but my general opinion is that you should use editor after you get sick of your first save, in order to keep the game fresh and new to yourself entertainment wise.
Anyone got any opinions on this?
Rehab is Hard
As some of you may have guessed I broke my leg on the 5th of December when I was hit by a Car, my tibia and fibula broke. This required surgery and to the day I am writing this I have a IM (metal) rod in my leg feeling the screws just underneath my skin but above my ankle feels feaky. Those were the first two bones I had ever broken in my life, so rehab is fairly hard at the moment. Lacking a physio I am trying to do it my own way, everything is going well so Far.

But Last week I tried to run on the beach, it was so painful trying to dig through the pain in the hope of a quick recovery. But I virtually collapsed after 400m, and only managed another 400m before I had to lie down to recover. Hopefully I can get back to fll fitness and get back to playing defensive midfield for the university again

Any recommendations on how to improve the healing process?
Missing the old days?
I was wondering this a while ago with some of my uni friends, is that was football more exciting way back then in recent history or did it mean more because it was my childhood. With people like Ronaldinho Ronaldo, Zidane, Beckham, Shearer, incidents like Arsenal’s Viera vs United’s Keane. It just seemed to be less about the money and more about the passion.

Not that I don’t like today’s football it still excites me as much as it ever has: it throws up moments like when Owen scored in the 90+5th min against city, heart-breaking moments like watching city win the cup, and Arsenal losing against Birmingham in the cup final. But when asked by myself many people here prefer Ronnie at the top of the world rather than Messi, rivalry seemed to mean more. Although I can’t comment on anything other than the Champions League and Premiership in this aspect, purely based on me having not followed the real life aspect of teams to as much as a in-depth level to what I would like to.
Is it just me getting old or does anyone think the same? Feel free to comment or pm.
