How to add Vitrex16 to FM 2016
IMPORTANT x2: When updating this skin, make sure to ERASE the older version BEFORE installing the new. Don't extract into skins folder if you already have another Vitrex folder by the same name, this will merge them together and ruin the skin!- Download and extract the .zip file (using either 7-Zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac).
- Place the "Vitrex16" folder here:
Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016\skins
Create the folder "skins" if it doesn't exist. - Start FM16 and go to Preferences screen and then into the Interface tab.
You should see Vitrex16 2.0 as option in the skin drop down of the Overview box.
Hit the Confirm button.
Please note this skin is provided as is. It has nothing to do with Sports Interactive or SEGA and won't be supported by them.

Hmm i haven't touch anything in that regards. I always play 3D so i haven't even given it a though where to find a 2D button :-). Anyway you must have changed it somewhere in-game, because the skin doesn't affect that part of the game for sure.
To change the size of the player face, you need to edit the following file found under '\Vitrex16 2.0\panels\': 'vitrex player overview.xml'.
Locate the code starting in line 38, and take away the code marked in bold here:

You can change the stars by opening the 'settings.xml' file found under:
'\Vitrex16 2.0\settings\'
Scroll down to line 1313 (at the very end more or less) and locate this piece of coding:

Replace the last line's red, green and blue number values with whichever color code you like. White are 3x250, grey are 3x150-220 (the lower the darker).
My tactics screen shows the players names on thir shirts but theyre half hidden as if theyre too big. The details below the player photo on player pages are hidden as if theyre below but behind the under panel and my bbc website looks all squashed. can i fix this?

Yes you can put the logo in the sidebar, quite easily actually. Open up the file named "sidebar menu table.xml" in your Vitrex16 -> Panels folder.
At the very end, just before the last line of text saying:

Go to:

You will find several folders there named from 10-90. The paper file in folder named "40" is the standard. Just copy paste the paper from which ever of the other folders you like into 40, and that will be your new default.
There is nothing wrong there. First of all, my skin doesn't touch the way the game rates players. And like Ede says, there is two different colors on play there. The youth rating stars are more whitish-yellow, and when they mature and get better, they turn more saturated yellow. You can always change the colors if you don't like them, in the skins congif file, near the bottom, very easy.

I was also wondering if there would be a chance to have maybe a logo on the sidebar for competitions and club logos at all ? where the battery icon is instead ?
Loving the new update. Just one small problem: under the under 18/21 all players have a current ability of either 4.5-5 stars when their potential is much lower. Here is a screenshot of what i mean
