FM 2016 Skins - Wannachupbrew FM16 v1.2.1

Collection of panels and graphics tweaks by Wannachupbrew.
Anything included in this skin can be used in other skins as long as credit is given.

This skin is designed for 1920x1080 resolution. It should work with other resolutions but I don't test every single panel with every possible resolution. If you're using a different resolution and something doesn't display correctly please post your resolution and a screenshot of the issue and I'll do my best to fix it. However, I will NOT fix issues related to using different zoom levels. If you use any zoom level other than 100% you will have problems.

Installation instructions

Step 1

Download the skin.

Step 2

Extract the files (using either 7-Zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac).

Move the folders inside into your skins folder:

Win Vista/7/8/10: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016\skins
Win XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016\skins
Mac OS X: /Users/<username>/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2016/skins

Create the folder "skins" if it doesn't exist.

Step 3

Start the game and go to Preferences screen and Interface tab.
You should see "Wannachupbrew-FM16-(version number)” as an option in the skin drop down of the General options section.

Hit the Confirm button.

Hey guys, I'm away from home working for the next week so I won't be able to do much until I get back. There will be an update in a few days with a few new panels and compatibility for 1366x768 resolution that I managed to sort out before I left.

one thing i'd love to see with this skin is that the value of the player showed when looking at the overview of the player.

im very new to fm and this was my first time doing this but im quite stuck because ive done all the steps to do but on my fm nothing has changed do i need to do something else after the steps to then get the pack to show on my fm. please help me:)

@StatisticalApproach - this is a known bug in FM

@cristao69: Go to 'graphics/backgrounds' and replace one of the the backgrounds there. 'default.jpg' is the default background and the numbered image files are the background selector files.

@Sir K Jumah: Just delete the old one and then follow the installation instructions again. I probably won't be doing any more scoreboards.

@Andrifo: It'll be fixed in the next release.

Nice skin!

There are a couple of questions that I'd like to ask. They are:-

How can I update the version of this skin? My version is 1.1.0. The latest one is 1.1.1 - and I really don't know how to update it.

Will there be Premier League ZIC scoreboards (such as this: http://www.axgig.com/images/58545032532945129608.jpg)
That also applies to other leagues.

Is everyone else getting the issue where any changes to the panel selection you make is forgotten the next time you load the save? essentially it just defaults back to how it was originally set up. Curious if this is due to the lack of resource archiver or something else that can be resolved prior. Thanks for the work both Wanna and Daz!

Bartdude, I don't get what you mean by 'fewer key presses without defaulting to the initial screen settings'. Just clicking once on the search bar brings up the menu, exactly the same as clicking on a button.

Extract from Si Forums regading FM16

At the moment it isn't possible to extract the contents of the fmf files in the FM2016 Beta this is because the fmf files seem to have undergone some changes which stops the Resource Tools from previous versions from being able to read the FM16 fmf files.

Instead we need to wait until the FM2016 Resource Tool is released, and that won't be released until the game is official released on the 13th November.

Until the updated Resource Tool is released it won't be possible to update or release any mods or skins for FM2016 (apart from really basic ones, but they will be done blind and as such might have issues), nor will it be possible to edit the default skins nor see if various new features can be tweaked.

So be patient and grateful that we have made any skins at all.

Yes mate,I'm well aware of how to navigate around FM but the down arrow sub-menu does the same thing with fewer key presses without defaulting to the initial screen settings.
