FM 2018 Fantasy Scenarios - Youth Rating Updated in FM18
An update of the youth rating in Football Manager 2018.

Nations such as Egypt, Jordan, Russia, USA, Iran, India get a youth rating that is way to high according to other football-countries, so that's why I changed every nation's youth rating according to their reputation in FM18 to make it more accurate!

As a result, I divided every reputation value through 60 and that became the new youth rating, for a more realistic long career in FM 2018.

@breny68: That's possible, but all the countries are more in balance with each other this way I think..

by dividing by 60 you are actually making the USA rating higher than it was

I wouldn't tinker here. Egypt and Jordan have some exciting prospects touted by European clubs. India have invested millions in new youth initiatives, and USA's college facilities are world class. You'll also realise that at world cups, a country very rarely thrashes another, so the ability difference is not as stark as you've made out.

I have changed every country's youth rating by dividing their national reputation by 60.

It was mostly to get a more realistic long save and no more supertalents from Jordan, Egypt, USA and Russia mostly!! Now it's more balanced across South-America and Europe!

    Hmm Feliks...

Well so what about other countries? In my opinion countries like Poland, Croatia, Ivory Coast, Cameroon should have bigger ratings. Same with Uruguay and England.

On the other hand Greece, Scotland, Ukraine, Russia should have smaller ratings. At least - 0,5 star for each one of them.

Some countries have different youth ratings for different reasons. For example, China is a country that has low rep but will likely have very high youth development in the near future considering the money that's started to become pumped into the game. USA have relatively low rep but have outstanding capacity to produce elite athletes. I think SI sets youth ratings for a reason, and its not always to do with nation reputation.
