Goal Machine 4-4-2

For too long we have missed out on a solid 4-4-2 in football... here is the saviour for the long forgotten tactic of professional football.


We have the usual 2 banks of four with 2 strikers, A solid GK and centre backs required, marauding full backs (the staple of any exciting team). here is the Midfield where it gets spicy, DLP along side a BBM for the creation, but our Wingers are Inverted and Attacking to help the strikers creating almost a 4 man attack but still offering the defensive rigidity required!

Our fullbacks still offer the width for when the wide midfielders are knocking about in the middle of the park, and finally a nice standard DLF & AF combo for the front 2 to allow for the link between midfield and the forward.

Play itself is (naturally) slightly narrower at a high tempo, it's a perfect blend between gegenpress and a Fluid Counter attack!
