The Tactic

Defence
With only one wing back, the two central defenders are asked to push wide in possession, this creates the angles to pass the ball out from the back. We added the Libero so that if the options are limited the central player of the three brings the ball out from the back, looking to create more passing lanes.
Midfield
With two CBs going wide, to add stability we have the Anchor and the SV ahead creating a W shape and passing triangles. The anchor sits in front and holds the shape, while the SV on attack will push up into the space left in the middle of the park. The wing-back will offer an option down the right, but also an added layer of protection.
There is balance all over the pitch as the attacking option down the left is the winger, relying on the anchor to protect the defence.
Attack
I absolutely love the movement of the Inside Forward on support, he makes the blindside runs in behind the defence, also leaving that space for the wing-back, but working with the SV on the edge of the box. Then we have the combo of the Shadow Striker and Advanced Forward, which has been a winning pairing in FM21.
Training
This is so key to your team understanding this tactic. Weekly Match prep, including teamwork and match tactics are needed to help the players understand what's going on, as well as Match Review after each fixture. Do this early and throughout the season and you will see the benefits.
For the individual players, train them for the position they are going to play and the tactic will benefit.
Set Pieces
For the testing, there is two corner options for the near post, one where a player comes short. Short throw ins too.
