Grogu - FM24 Tactic Remake for FM26

While staying true to its roots, the new version takes full advantage of FM26’s improved match engine, especially when it comes to movement, space creation, and dynamic wide play.

A core characteristic of this tactic is the constant off-the-ball movement from the attacking players. They make frequent, well-timed runs in behind the defensive line, stretching opponents and opening dangerous channels throughout the final third. This relentless vertical pressure is one of the key strengths of the system.

Their forward contributions not only support the build-up but also overload the opposition’s flanks, helping to create numerical superiority in wide areas.

I tested the Asymmetric Grogu Tactic with 1. FC Kaiserslautern during the first season after their promotion from the 2. Bundesliga. Despite being newly promoted, the team performed impressively thanks to this dynamic and unpredictable tactical approach. This Tactic took me to 6th Place finish and made me the winner of the DFB Pokal.
