Discussion: GYR's COMPLETE 4231 TACTIC (For Teams At All Levels)

I really wanted to get the most out of the striker and I feel like it does.
Who are you managing?
Everyone has their right to comment and people have their right to post but I take your point on if everyone did it with the same regularity tactics can quickly move from focus on the page for different creators. I myself have got caught up in the homepage race and held my hands up to it as it wasn't done to impact others work.
When I mentioned views I meant more towards youtube as you will generally get more being on the homepage on here. I would assume if people saw a familiar thumbnail like mine have a similar style to each other for example if they werent a fan of my tactics they wouldnt click or atleast wouldnt download my tactic.
I know Knap has his own section so maybe this could be an answer to it where their fanbase could go specifically for their content but that isn't something for me to decide.
At this stage, I’ve also learned that you are a much more established and respected content creator than he is. Your comment section justify if.
The fact that someone has 20k subscribers doesn’t really mean much these days. You can create multiple email accounts and subscribe yourself. You can ask friends to do the same. You can even pay companies to boost subscriber numbers. With AI, this is only going to get worse. So subscriber counts alone don’t prove credibility.
Josh is not just an FM content creator—he’s also a member of this community and someone who works for the site. He has direct involvement in what gets published. He should be setting an example for others.
Imagine if 100 users started posting tactics every day the way he does.
I know mental health is important and I think the fact you consider it says a lot about you as a person. Nevertheless, I feel that ethical standards of his approach are low – so the kids looking up to him and using his tactics can also start wondering what is wrong with them that they cannot achieve much, while he is gaining trophy after trophy. This is a very complex issue, but since Josh chose to make his life public, I think a debate about quality of his work is relevant, especially that is is likely the subscribers who pay him are children.
You said: “Homepage might get more clicks as it’s most visible, but doesn’t convert to views/downloads unless people want to.”
I disagree. It absolutely does. When users see tactics promising a quadruple with an average team, it pushes them to check those tactics instead of others—like someone who has played 10 seasons and tested properly. His tactics often give instant results—at least according to him. He also strategically schedules the publication of his tactics to maximize visibility in the thumbnail.
Stam has this in his description: “Whatever happens in your everyday life, coming here should be an escape from it; so cheer up and talk FM.”
This used to be the mentality of people who used this website before the money came into part. I’m here to have fun like back in a days. After all we we’re talking about a .............................. game.
I would like also ad this is a FM COMMUNITY NOT A STORE.
I see a kid who is making this content full time and the more views drop(for alot of creators) due to lower fm26 interest the more they put out to keep the views and earn the same(I earn but it's very much a part time thing for me so not the same need). You get different restaurants, fast food and michelin star with there being room for both.
Some people just want any content and some are happy to wait for content and neither are wrong. I haven't watched one of their videos in awhile but I have seen them before same as I've seen treqs, rdfs and others when looking to see what I like and what I dont in how it's presented to help me decide a format for my own/how to make mine different.
I think the titles and thumbnails are good advertising, I cant speak on the product but his job is to get people to view and his thumbnails are good. I just think he's a young lad trying to make money out of youtube and there isn't anything wrong with that.
The comments must get to him as you can see the write up I noticed at the bottom of his latest post so while he might put it down to haters trying to build a me against the world Man Utd style approach he will know that many of the questions are justified and not just hate but it sounds better than accountability. I'm pretty straight if i have a issue or question and even reached out directly to them before privately with no reply.
It's difficult to explain certain parts tho I'd guess. I did almost write a reply on one of his tactics christmas time which had 20 odd comments just to point out the mental health side of things but felt it wasnt my place to speak up for him as i don't know him and given our last interaction where he didn't respond anyway. People are different also and this could be a escape for him he doesn’t come across as particularly confident with what I'd seen on twitter so the youtube views could be a form of acceptance/achievement. Just saying me never know peoples thought process just what they put out for you to see.
Suppose I would say if people want to download stuff they can and with the same people commenting on the tactics maybe has lost its impact and can seem like just targeted hate. The thumbnails are consistent so people know what they are clicking.
I don't feel like him doing his thing stops me or others growing as the homepage is just one page the tactics page is there for all. Homepage might get more clicks as its most visible but doesnt convert to views/downloads unless people want to.
If people have an idea on rules around tactics like no editor and the match engine specified maybe a discussion post about it would be better. Doesn't mean it'll happen but leaves room for a proper discussion. Stam puts alot of work into the site and does care very very much about the content that's here and the people who use the site that I know but also people having a place to share their content whether its for everyone or not.
Just my thoughts on it, doesn't mean im right.
The issue is that there’s only one main tactical thumbnail, and he almost always occupies it. With a flashy name, you’re naturally drawn to it.
I have tested his tactics hundreds of times, and the results never came close to his claimed achievements. In his earlier videos—before he was pushed to add real information—it was marketing rather than analysis.
I’ve watched your videos, those of the Italian creators, and Swagata’s, and the contrast is obvious. Even established tactical creators like Knap don’t have the same download numbers.
So how does someone averaging 2,000+ downloads per tactic not have even a single user return to say they actually worked? It is an rhetorical question
Let me emphasize that number: two thousand plus. This is not a mistake.
Like I said i get people's frustration but I don't think it's a reflection of the site. It's open to people to put up tactics.
I usually wouldnt check on others but when I see so many comments it got my interest. I haven't seen them interact on here but I dont know about other platforms. I'm of the understanding they dont like me very much for an unknown reason so we don't exactly chat haha
My main concern is people like swagata, magicomonta and others(Sorry not to name everyone but theres a few) potentially deciding not to posting on here if they think people wont check for their tactics which would be a shame.
I think our frustration comes from his lack of respect for this community. He repeatedly posts without answering questions and blocks people on other platforms who try to make fair points. That’s why people tend to appreciate members—like yourself—who take the time to reply and engage in discussion. Have you ever seen him do that?
Lots if really good tactic makers on here tho. Hopefully things can be positive and people use the site to show off their hard work even if I understand some of the frustrations I've seen on here. FMscout is a top place in my opinion for feedback and platform for tactics.
Hope you like this one and thanks for the support. Been doing this 5 years i'm not going anywhere haha
Will use this in my new Save at Schalke 04
Keep it up mate
