I'd like to clarify, This isn’t about gender or exclusion — it’s purely a technical performance tweak.
Football Manager 26 automatically loads women’s competitions and players, even if you’re playing a men’s-only career. That adds thousands of extra entries to the database and can impact loading times and processing speed.
This mod simply removes unused data to improve performance.
If you enjoy playing with women’s leagues, this mod is not for you — it’s meant for people who focus on men’s saves and want faster load times.
- What is this dataset about? -
- removed All women’s clubs and players
- removed Women’s competitions
- removed Women’s awards
The idea is to make loading times faster and reduce the overall database size - perfect if you only want to play men’s football saves.
- But you can disable them...-
Can you really? My tests showed, that the game still loaded female players and competitions. Also, if you add for example top European players through advanced options, women will be loaded.
- Downsides and Bugs -
- UI when creating the game still shows the female team, even though it doesn't exist
- no idea about long term consequences
- staff members are now without jobs and free to hire
- Female national teams can’t be fully removed; UI may still reference them.
- How to load the file -
Download the file.
[Windows, don't know for other OS] Go do your documents folder and look for Sports Interactive. Most likely located in:
C:\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 26\editor data
And drop the file in there. Start the game.
Start new Career -> You will have in the top right corner something called database. Click it.
Tick the box next to my dataset. Newly added files are activated by default.

My wife and daughter are both females(always best to check these days) and they both said the same thing “grow up it’s a fucking game”

it's a game, so why do u felt the need to tell about that to your family?
How is it immature to not want useless loading times for leagues we are not interested in?
Following your own logic: is someone racist or need to grow up if he never selects a specific league?

I would like to do a similar database without men. Problem is, the editor is crazy slow. I have to delete 385000 players. I'm already on it for multiple hours. Pretty sure the editor crashed.
Here are my answer's to some of you:
"such a deductive way of using time, instead of creating leagues that are not in the game..." - Do it yourself. Creating a functional league is extremely complicated and challenging in the editor.

To anybody who says things like woke or wants to insult other people: woke is a word created by the far right to undermine the political discourse. Other opinions have often a lot of truth too it. People who want this mod gone, mean it well. They want to help women to get better rights in society.
Again, my goal here is a performance update and I have a problem with SI how they implemented women into the game.

if true that the game load it even if you plan on play only men’s why would you not want to exclude it? It affects the loading times and processing speed!
IF YOU DON’t load the women leagues and choose men only. You already made the exclusion yourself. Does that make you sexist and hating women?
Weird how all of the people who cry about everything hurting their precious manhood call everyone else snowflakes, isn't it?
If you don't plan to play in the women divisions, it will literally just slow your game down and nothing else.
But I am thinking about doing the same with only women's football. But deleting all the male teams and players is really a lot of work.
