The season runs from March to November, just like in Estonia. Promotion and relegation are included, with playoffs between divisions. The Estonian Cup is played during summer and autumn, and the Supercup kicks off the year in February before the league season starts.
Transfers follow the real schedule. The winter transfer window runs from 10 January to 28 February, and the summer one from 1 to 31 July. Clubs can use up to 6 loan players during a season.
In Premium Liiga, each team must have at least 4 homegrown players in the match squad, and at least 2 of them must be in the starting eleven. No more than 5 foreign players can be on the pitch at the same time. Each squad must include at least 20 homegrown players and no more than 5 on loan.
Esiliiga and Esiliiga B follow the same structure with slightly lighter squad rules. Teams must have at least 4 homegrown players in the match squad, with at least 2 of them starting. The same 5-player foreign limit applies, and squads must include at least 17 homegrown players with up to 5 loanees.
The database is built with standard Nation Rules to keep it simple, stable, and realistic - a complete and fully playable Estonian setup for FM26.

Discussion: Estonian Leagues for FM26

You’ll find it here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26 Editor
Open the file called editor.exe from that folder - it won’t always show up under “Tools” in Steam.
Right now, only Nation Rules work correctly. Advanced Rules can’t be verified yet, so complex systems with multiple years or reserve links don’t save or test properly.
For Estonia, I used the default FM26 database, which already had three divisions included. I opened them manually in the editor, adjusted the rules, schedules, and structure, and saved it as a Nation Rules file.
You can do the same for any nation - open the country in the editor, add the leagues and cup competitions, then build everything using Nation Rules. Once Advanced Rules are fixed, you’ll be able to expand it further.
