Playing as Milan and am at the third year. From 16 home games 15 wins and a draw where I conceded a goal at the 93rd minute versus Napoli.
Works rather well away from home against small teams as well but didn't work that well when I used it away against better-than-average teams.
For those games I usually use a 4-5-1 formation which I can upload later if asked for

Finished the league unbeaten at home with the only draw coming against Napoli

The quarter-final clash against Psg

One of the many games I completely dominated at home, even though I started with mainly reserves and youngsters(due to it being between two clashed with Real Madrid and the league was practically already mine).

Was dominating the game but by the 65th minute they started getting the upper hand so I switched to a more defensive tactic to as to try and avoid conceding an away goal.

It works rather well away from home against small teams(even when in this case using most players which are not first teamers), but to be honest I didn't use it much away from home, used a less offensive tactic...as I didn't want other teams to get too used to this tactic and due to having some players which didn't exactly slot in this formation I had to use other formations away to give them some playing time. This year I've already sold those players so will be sticking mainly to the 4-2-3-1 and two other formations.

Some of the results at the end of the season. As seen the away results are far from perfect but in all of them I used a 4-5-1 or 4-1-2-1-2 formation where I still dominated the games but found it harder to score.
