The Terras - A growing beast

I apologize for those who were waiting for an update to my Luton game. I put that game in the fridge and may never resume it. However, I initiated another challenge, equally tough.
I decided to manage Weymouth, and my primary goal was to get promoted every year and reach Premiership by mid-2012. In this challenge I would use no regens, no editors and no cheats.

A brief background on the team (source: Wikipedia)
Weymouth F.C., also known as "The Terras", are a English football club based in the town of Weymouth, who played in the Conference National for the previous three seasons but were relegated in Blue Square Premier in April 2009. In recent years they were widely regarded as among the biggest underachievers in non-League football, but defied this reputation in the 2005-06 season by winning the Conference South. The club is currently in financial difficulty. The three man board had previously rejected take over offers from two credible consortia with former links to the club.

Weymouth Football Club were founded in 1890 and played their first game on 24 September of that year. Nicknamed 'The Terras' almost immediately, due to their terracotta strip. The Wessex Stadium is their home with a capacity of 6,500 seats.

Season 2008-2009
Blue Square Premier

I was given 0 € as transfer budget and very limited wage budget (around 2K I think). Unfortunately, I don't remember many details from that season and I didn't keep a screenshot of my team back then. The season was extremely successful though.
First thing I did was to try and find quality staff, coaches mostly. It took time but before friendlies kicked off, I had formed a pretty solid staff team with 4+ stars in every training dept. Additionally, I created custom training schedules for strikers, defenders, midfielders, wingers, full backs and a general one for the reserves.

Transfers ( 2008 - 2009 )
I tried to get rid of total crap material and regens. I think that went well.
The team got enough depth and strength to dominate the league, regardless media predictions for relegation battle. Most notable signings were Reset (AMR), Francis Suarez (AMRL), De Marcos (AMLC), Alvaro (AMRC), Bardeggia (FC), Vicente Perez (DM), Zozulya (AMR/ST), Grondin (GK), Javi Alamo (ST), Alex Herber (AMC), Fran Cortes (AMRLC), Manolo (DM), Patino (DC), Yesso (DM), Rapnik (DLC).
Zozulya is indispensable part of my team until now, while Rapnik became international with Slovenia before getting sold later on.

Fixtures and Honours
We proved worthy of lifting 3 trophies this season. Blue Square Premier, English FA Trophy and Conference League Cup. This resulted in an immediate grow of club stature, which luckily had enough momentum to continue its strike. The board was delighted for the trophies won and the general presence of the team in every competition we played, since we've been playing above expectations.
Let's take a look at the Blue Square Premier League Table.

Friendlies
Blue Square Premier

Conference League Cup
FA Trophy
Morale among players became very good and they acquired a strong level of understand for each other. That was very important, and along with the tactical consistency helped the team a lot on the way to success.

That was nothing compared to the number of players I brought in when I got promotion to Premiership (I really need to update the story up to season 2012-2013!!).
Squad harmony decreased rapidly and I just had to wait a couple of months to spot exactly the players I should get rid of. And while squad harmony was down to 41%, after January transfer window it went up to 67% by selling most of the "bad seeds" in the team.

Did the amount of players you brought in have an effect on the teams co-hesion? What is the best way to get around that?
