Steve Kean close to landing Manisaspor vacancy

Steve Kean has been closely linked to the vacant manager position at Manisaspor. Steve has been unemployed for over a year after his sacking from Blackburn Rovers.

Fans of the club have stated that they'd rather the club do a more thorough search so that someone who's a bit less of a "total knobcheese" is employed. The club haven't realised any statements about who their next manager is expected to be.

Steve Kean has said that he would love the opportunity to manage such a club, but talks haven't yet been held. This means that there are still many possibilities, but Kean is believed to be leading the way.
Seni:Cheers pal :)

Eden: Thanks! :)
Oh no, Steve Kean again! Are you in love with this guy?! Jk, great update mate, and love the title. Oh, and I can speak Turkey, you watch me!

*snaps fingers*
*starts speaking in Turkey*
Steve Kean :O I bet Macklemore Jason Derulo gets it ;)
Pauker:Maybe ;) Cheers, and well done! ;P

Justice: Yep :O Maybe, maybe not;)
Not Keane! Haha haven't this club had it bad enough recently! ;)

Manisaspor reveal new manager!

Ex Rangers Manager and Chairman Walter Smith has surprisingly landed the Manisaspor manager role. This comes as a shock to many, but a good shock, as he snatched the job from fellow Scotsman Steve Kean.

Walter Smith signed as a defender with Dundee United in 1966 and played in 108 league games scoring 2 goals between 1966 and 1975. He also featured in the Scottish Cup 1973–74 final against Celtic, playing alongside future assistant Archie Knox. In 1975 Smith was sold to Dumbarton for a fee of £7,000. He played in 44 league game for Dumbarton between 1975 and 1977.
At the age of 29, a pelvic injury threatened his career and he was invited to join the Dundee United coaching staff by Jim McLean as a player and coach. His first team appearances were limited thereafter, but he remained a signed player and his final club match was in September 1980. In his second spell he appeared in 26 league matches. In total, he made 178 senior appearances for Dundee United, scoring three goals.

Between 1978 and 1976, Walther took charge of both the Scotland Under 18's team and the Scotland U21's team. In 1986, he was Assistant Manager of Scotland, under Sir Alex Ferguson. Between 1986 and 1991 he was assistant manager at Rangers. He then took over as manager until 1998. At this point he took over as manager of Everton until 2004. He was then reunited with Sir Alex, this time as assistant manager of Manchester United. This didn't last long, and also in 2004 he was the Scotland manager, lasting until 2007. He then returned to Rangers, but lost his job due to problems with finance.
Walter Smith :O Quiet a shock, but I'm sure the fans wont mind :p
Some nice updates 'ere, Lucas. Good luck :)
DeanByrne1995: Yep :O They'll be relieved it's not Steveo Keanaldinho :))

Nick: Cheers buddy :)
