@PompeyBlue: I know mate, I'm going in to every game thinking, 'surely I'm gonna lose this one!'

@Arvind: My own meme!! Haha :)

As the transfer window slammed shut, we had been quiet in terms of big name signings for the present...

INCOMING

19 year old Brazilian trequartista Lucas Evangelista arrives for £2.5m after impressing for Sao Paulo since making his debut as a 16 year old - he joins immediately.

Kevin Prince Boateng (Schalke), Gregory van der Wiel (PSG) and John Obi Mikel (Chelsea) all arrive on loan until the end of the season to act as cover and to give the squad depth.

OUTGOING

Fredy Guarin re-joins former club FC Porto for £12m after finding first team chances hard to come by due to the form of Marco Verratti and Pedro Obiang.

BOSMAN DEALS

We moved quickly to tie up deals for two of world football's top prospects, who will both join at the end of the season...

Marc Andre ter Stegen

Highly rated German international shot stopper Ter-Stegen will join from Borussia Monchengladbach.

Samuel Umtiti

French U21 captain Umtiti will join from Lyon and can play at left back or centre half.
Wow, some really nice signings there! And when you get ter Stegen next year we will have the same goalkeeper for the same club ;)

FEBRUARY REVIEW

Well, I suppose it was inevitable… Our first league points dropped.

I couldn't even blame the lads, we battered Parma and on the news that there was supposed to be 3 minutes of injury time, our opponents grabbed their equaliser in the 95th minute.

5 wins from 6 and only one goal conceded in that period leaves us still dominating the league and a 1-1 draw in Moscow leaves us in pole position going in to our Champions League tie second leg.

SERIE A TABLE

PLAYER OF THE MONTH

http://forzaitalianfootball.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Juan-Jesus-Inter.jpeg

Juan Jesus takes the award for February, a rock at the back as we only conceded 2 goals in 7 games throughout the month, while popping up with 3 goals - the winner against Torino, the equaliser in Moscow and one in the 4-0 destruction of Padova.

He has now scored 9 this season - not bad for a centre half!
95th minute equalizer? D: That is brutal.

Ahhh mate tell me about it... Absolutely GUTTED!!! :(
It had been in the back of my mind since the last time we played them… March would bring the second Milan derby of the season.

Would Castral come back?

I lay on the sofa flicking up and down the Sky channels, only settling when some football came on… MLS. LA Galaxy v Houston Dynamo.

Houston Dynamo - they brought some memories flooding back, they were my first opponents as Villa manager on that mental pre-season tour where Eric started being… Well, Eric.

Eric.

A true friend that I'd treated badly recently, if truth be told. He might have been a pain in the arse but he was loyal and would help me if I ever needed it.

Help me. My thoughts started diverting towards Castral and trying to protect myself and Jia Li.

I picked up the phone…

"Ello?"

"Eric… I need a favour.
Marc Andre ter Stegen, nice!!

THANKS!!!!!
Ooh I wonder what Eric is gonna do :D

Congrats on 10.000 views, that's awesome! :)

Eric met me the next morning in my office and after an initial frosty atmosphere, I explained the whole situation involving Castral to him.

When I'd finished, he smirked at me, much to my annoyance.

"Is this funny to you?" I ask.

"Non. I just find it amusing that you come to me for 'elp after ze way you spoke to me the last time I was here." He replied.

"Eric, look I'm sorry about that, I just… Ahhh, I don't know, just please accept my apology and give me a hand here. How can we do something about this??" I respond.

He stood up, walked to the door and looked back.

"Leave it to me." He said before exiting with that same smirk.

What a guy.
March went quickly leading up to the derby and since meeting him, I hadn't heard from Eric.

I tried calling him, texting, e-mailing. Nothing.

Results were good, we moved in to the Quarter Finals of the Champions League and were still unbeaten in Serie A.

I was sitting in Geneva for the Champions League Quarter Final draw when my phone finally went.

A text from Eric.

"Sorted." That was all he wrote… What does that even mean??

Before I could text back, our name was read out.

Galatasaray. Not bad.

Jia Li was safe back home in China with her parents. I thought with the derby upcoming, this was probably for the best.

I was back from Geneva 3 days before the Milan game and still wondered what Eric was going to do to sort out my problem.

I pulled up at my apartment, switched the lights on and walked up the stairs.

SHIT!!!

Everything was smashed, the place had been completely ransacked.

Castral? No. This wasn't his style, my MacBook, TV, Beats by Dre headphones and a few pieces of football memorabilia were missing.

"Thieving bastards!" I say to myself.

I opened the door to the bathroom and feel a hard, sharp blow to the back of my head.

I fall to the floor and smack my head off the sink and feel blood trickle down my face until it's rustic taste on my lips makes me gag...

Then it all goes black.
Great updates, and love the latest. You shouldn't have yelled, because you told off the 'mysterious people' that you had arrived :P
