Cheers Rablador & Josh :D

JANUARY REVIEW

5 wins and a draw in the league moved us further ahead of the chasing pack - 21 points to be exact, while QPR were deducted 10 points due to going in to administration.

Creditable performances against City in both legs in the Capital One Cup showed how good we can be but knocking Arsenal out of the F.A. Cup is up there with one of the shining moments in my managerial career - particularly as no one gave us a prayer of a chance.

I felt that there was no need to spend big in the transfer window due to our position in the league, however, injuries were taking their toll.

I used my extensive contact list and reputation from my Inter days to pull of a few coups who will no doubt help us in the remainder of the season.

All three arrive on loan.

ELJERO ELIA

Winger, Elia, finds himself out of favour at Werder Bremen and adds competition for Gabby, Marc Albrighton and Iancu.

GREGORY VAN DER WIEL

I had Gregory at Inter and he provides competition at Right Back for Matty Lowton. He arrives from PSG.

NICK POWELL

Young Manchester United midfielder, Powell, arrives to challenge Mutch, Delph and Gouffran in our midfield.
Great signings! Especially Nick Powell!
DAT QPR GOAL DIFFERENCE

Big step down Inter the Championship
@Josh: Cheers mate :)

@Element: They were deducted 10pts for going in to administration mate! Step down but I was winning everything at Inter, so wanted a new challenge! :D

FEBRUARY REVIEW

A near perfect month has us a massive and lets face it - uncatchable, 29 points clear at the top of the table.

If results go our way, we can seal promotion at St. Andrew's against bitter rivals, Birmingham City.

20 year old, Jack Grealish has attracted interest from Arsenal and Manchester City after earning rave reviews with some terrific performances throughout February.

The young Irishman's 5 goals in the month takes his tally for the season to 12 in all competitions.

IN OTHER NEWS….

The F.A. Cup victory over Brighton has set up a trip to Old Trafford to face the might Manchester United in the Quarter Finals.
Great month man.
Great month. I think once you secure promotion, you should focus on the F.A. Cup, to get the Europa League, and get bigger funds, and a better things :D
@Bayern: Cheers mate! :D

@Pauker: Gonna focus on the league too pal - 3 invincible seasons on the spin is the aim!

Haha I know mate, every match is nervy - I don't wanna loseeeeeee!! :L
Them relegation places might catch you up! :P

Just kidding, you're going too strongly for even Barca to catch you up at this stage.... Why don't you lose every game to make the league table look fair? ;)
Bring my tam back into the premiership please!!!
Justice: Haha not a bad idea mate, might be hurting the other team's feelings by winning so much :P

Jason: Promotion is almost all but assured my good man.. My next update should be a goosd one ;) Hopefully can turn Villa in to a similar team to the one I had on my FM13 story!

MARCH REVIEW

The 4-2 over Burnley at Villa Park meant we could clinch promotion at the home of our city rivals, Birmingham City.

Following a narrow 1-0 defeat in the FA Cup 5th Round at Old Trafford, we went a goal down to the Bluenoses. A brace from Gabriel Iancu turned the game on it's head and sent us back to the top flight at the first time of asking.

We finished the month on 100 points and unbeaten after 40 games…. 3 invincible seasons in a row… Can it be done??
