APRIL REVIEW

Going in to the final month of the season with promotion and the league title sewn up, the aim was to remain unbeaten.

Injuries to Gabby Agbonlahor, Marc Albrighton and Matt Lowton made things difficult but Academy graduates Jordan Graham and Joshua Webb stepped up superbly.

Picking up 4 wins and 2 draws from our final 6 games was impressive considering the lack of squad depth and ensured three unbeaten league campaigns for me as a manager.

I'm good.

Following Jake Kean's departure to Reading, I needed a goalkeeper to challenge Brad Guzan. Butland is a top young, English prospect tipped to break in to the national time and arrives for £4m after a couple of great seasons at Stoke where he dislodged Asmir Begovic as the club's number 1.

Right winger Redmond arrives from Norwich for £6m after impressing for the Canaries and earning his first England cap.

EMIR ZIZEK



18 year old Slovenian international Zizek arrives for £2.7m from FC Kobenhavn. After making his debut at 15 for the Danish club's first team, he went on to score 44 goals for the club. We beat off competition from Bayern Munich, Dortmund, Benfica, Atletico Madrid and Arsenal for the youngster's signature.
