2013-11-13 21:32#143500 AAN : A very busy transfer window..but the team works perfectly! Good job mate!

Cheers :)

I am going to put up a picture of the formation soon

Cunningham out for 3-4 weeks!

In their recent game against Shrewsbury, Cunningham was injured in the 53rd with a pulled groin when making a break down the wing. Greg is now out for 3-4 weeks eventhough Capp is upset with the loss of one of his main men in the team, he is happy that he has the correct deph in his squad to cover the injury.

Sky Bet League 1- As it stands

8 games into the new season of the Sky Bet League 1 see's Wolverhampton Wanderers living up to expectations of winning the league by lying in 1st place with 8 wins from 8 games scoring 20 goals and letting in only 5. We caught up with Capp to discuss the League Table.

Re:So Capp are you happy with how your team is fairing so far this season?
AC:I am very pleased with the team and how they are performing. My only worry is that most of the goals we have let in have been scored in the last 10mins and we need to addres this before teams start to exploit that weakness.

September is over but form continues

Wolves have kept their scintillating form on going with another great month with 5 wins and 1 loss. With progress in the Johnstone Paint Trophy going well and wth Wolves solidifying their hold on 1st place in League 1 Capp can look back at this month with a look of achievement apart from the loss in the Capital One Cup where Capp will have a lot to complain about with two of his players being sent off early on in the game for late challenges giving up two penalties after taking an early lead. The Star man of the month has to be Leigh Griffiths with 5 goals in 3 games with 1 assist as well.

Second month Running

Capp has won the Sky Bet League 1 Manager of the Month for the second month running after straight wins throughout the month again in the League. With commanding performances against Swindon Town and Sheffield United.

Wolves vs Coventry in the first round of the FA Cup

Wolves fans will wake up to the knowledge that they are to face Coventry City in the 1t round of the FA Cup at Molineux. We asked Manager Capp his thoughts on the draw.

I think the draw has been favourable to us and makes us favourite's to qualify for the next round. There will be an added push as the game will be played in front of our fans.

October finishes but Wolves form doesn't

I am very happy with our October not losing any games and dominating a lot. I had worries against both Morecombe and Bradford where the scoreline shouldn't of been what it was, we where dominated and lucky to get the wins. However the Colchester and Oldham games I was happily pleased with as we dominated from the off. My player of the month has to be Kevin Doyle with strong displays in his 3 appearances scoring 5 goals

Capp does it again

I am pleased to of won the award again. The team played well and I will share this with them.
your right... some good results! :) shame about Cunningham... have to admit Griffiths was a player I was looking at on my save..
2013-11-14 20:50#143695 The-forgotten-one : your right... some good results! :) shame about Cunningham... have to admit Griffiths was a player I was looking at on my save..

Griffiths 10 goals 11 apps

Doyle 13 goals 13 apps

They are both amazing and rotation helps me so much with these two

Wolves Progress After a strugge

It was a hard fought win and we should of won by more. Doyle got us the victory with a sweet effort early in the game. We have been drawn against Gateshead away and I think we should qualify again and it should be more comfortable than the Coventry win.

Wolves finally fail to win

With two 2 all draw against Carlisle away and Brentford at home, Wolves have finally had their winning streak ended. They did however make up for it with two strong team perfomances against Tranmere at Home winning 1-0 and winning at London Road against Peterborough 4-1 with a hat-trick from Kevin Doyle. The Star man of the month has to be Bakary Sako who scored 5 goals and 3 assists.

Progression to the JPT North Final

It will be a Wolves vs PNE in the JPT North Final. Wolves beat League 2 side Scunthorpe 2-0 where Griffiths stole the show with two superb goals. PNE beat reegation tipped Shrewsbury 2-0. It has step up a tasty final between the to teams playng for promotion.

The Year comes to a Close

The end of December and the year comes to a close with some interesting results. I am unhappy with the Notts County and the Crewe draws as we dominated those games but couldn't make it count. The Gateshead game was more difficult than I thought and we only scraped through but know sets up a game with Manchester United. My star man of the month has to be Leigh Griffiths as he won games for us on his own with scoring 5 goals and getting 2 assist's

Of Course I'm Staying!

With 6 months left on Capp's contract a lot of people where specualting whetherit would be renewed and any thought it should be considering how Capp's team is performing and he has signed a new contract worth around £800k, Capp is pleased to have signed a new contract and sorted his future out.

End of Transfer window and January

Its the end of the Transfer Window and we see two players leave Wolverhampton in the shape of Sam Ricketts and Aron McCarey. Ricketts was thought to be unhappy with not having the opportunities to play in the first team and ask to be sold.

Only one loss as the form continues

I am happy with our performances but I do eel he game vs United should of been closer we did not take our chances and was made to pay for that. All of our other game we played well and dominated them. The Star player of the month hasto be Kevin Doyle with commanding performances throughout the month.

Capp Wins again
Capp has won the Manager of the Month award again for January with some strong performances throughout the month.

Selection Dilemma for Capp

Capp is going to have to re-think his team selection for the JPT North Final as Kevin Doyle is now out for 3weeks injured. To make matter worse for Capp Leigh Griffiths is also our injured for 7 days. Capp will have to call on Luke Freeman to lead the line for the team for the next 2 games at least.

Struggled through a tough month

Capp can be pleased with the month of February being over with injuries to key men, but he can be happy that his team played well throughout the month putting in strong performances. His man of the month has to be the young forward Luke Freeman after he filled in for Griffiths and Doyle absence.
