Nice singing !
Two good players with experience, and one young. Good luck.

Hey, Oss aren't rubbish! They're crap. Big difference. Should've obliterated them :P Joking aside, I actually like Oss, so happy you only beat them 1-0 :P Good results anyway, even if it was against a useless team :))

bebero: Thanks mate! Hopefully they come in use!

Louis: Haha Oss suck :P They're lucky not to get relegated

February & March Match Reports Part 1

Friday 7th February 2014 – Jupiler League – de Vijverberg, Doetinchem – Att. 8,281

De Graafschap 4 – 2 Fortuna Sittard

Dreesen (45) Akalé (62) Bruma (78)
Breinburg (90+4)

An exciting end-to-end game that we came out on top of. The continuous pressure led to two own goals and two very good goals, with Breinburg scoring the best of them with a 25 yard top corner drive. 4 wins in a row and we’re going strong.

Friday 14th February 2014 – Jupiler League – de Vijverberg, Doetinchem – Att. 8,645

De Graafschap 1 – 0 Telstar

Veerman (34)

This was a sloppy game and we ended up with 26 fouls and only 2 shots on target but we had 60% of the possession. A good win though which takes us to 5 straight wins and we’re closing the gap at the top slowly.

Friday 21st February 2014 – Jupiler League – De Toekomst, Amsterdam – Att. 746

Jong Ajax 1 – 2 De Graafschap

Veerman (11, 78)

Jong Ajax were struggling in the league and we really should have taken advantage, with our CB scoring an own goal. Another win racked up and these boys are really making the most of the opportunity they are getting to play and play well.

Friday 28th February 2014 – Jupiler League – GN Bouw Stadion, Dordrecht – Att. 2,797

FC Dordrecht 0 – 1 De Graafschap

Verkoelen (47)

61% possession with 9 shots on goal but only 2 on target again. A goal from a corner is not satisfactory and we really need to put more of our chances away or we will struggle going forward.

February & March Match Reports Part 2

Friday 7th March 2014 – Jupiler League – de Vijverberg, Doetinchem – Att. 8,682

De Graafschap 2 – 0 Jong PSV

Veerman (40) Loof (58)

Another win and the run continues! Points are racking up and we are closing in on that first place automatic promotion spot. Veerman is playing much better since the turn of the year and the lads are all gunning for promotion now.

Monday 10th March 2014 – Jupiler League – Grolsch Veste, Enschede – Att. 1,883

Jong FC Twente 0 – 1 De Graafschap

Baldé (38)

I think this was our best every performance in a game to date. We had 71% possession, 17 shots on goal with 8 on target. Scoring only 1 goal does not do this game justice and I am extremely proud of the abilities of these boys. They have really come together and we have now stretched our run to 9 games unbeaten in the league since the winter break.

Friday 14th March 2014 – Jupiler League – de Vijverberg, Doetinchem – Att. 9,027

De Graafschap 0 – 0 Almere City

After 9 wins in a row this was disappointing. We seem to dominate possession, having 63% in the game but we don’t always score when we should. I couldn’t fault the effort of these guys over the last few months and have been extremely proud. We drew but the teams ahead of us drew as well and we haven’t lost out.

Monday 21st March 2014 – Jupiler League – Lavans Stadion, Helmond – Att. 3,237

Helmond Sport 2 – 3 De Graafschap

Veerman (30) Veldmate (33)
Vincken (81)

What a game! From leading 2-0 to 2-2 to Vincken smashing in the winner. Neither team dominated and a draw was probably a fair result but the win was vital as Helmond are a team fighting for promotion as well and we are now above them in the table! To win away from home as well is a great effort in such an important game.

Friday 28th March 2014 – Jupiler League – de Vijverberg, Doetinchem – Att. 9,504

De Graafschap 4 – 0 Sparta Rotterdam

Vincken (11, pen 27, pen 32) Jansen (64)

A great win against average opponents. Tim got his first hattrick of the season and the game was over after half an hour. The rise up the table continues and heading in to the final month, we play the one team ahead of us away from home. 4 more games left to push for the 1 automatic promotion spot!

League Table

Beat those Jongs! :P And Helmond, and Sparta :)
Story wont continue from here on. If anyone was wondering, I won the league by 1 point!

what Louis said.
To be honest, not felt the support with this one as I've had with my Lyon story but also just had so many issues with the board they were a nightmare to deal with and request after request was rejected and I got a bit fed up and leaked to the press in the summer
Wh...wh...why:'(
:'(
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY? NO SUPPORT YOU SAY?!?! HOW DARE YOU

Been keeping an eye on this topic since it was started but never replied until now (as i see you are quitting it)
Shame you are giving up on it as it was a really good read and that is what has made me join this site...

I might have to look back onto your other topic to see how your other game unfolded.
Such a shame your giving up on this one. Was really enjoying it.
