I looked at the clock in the stadium which was to my right, the time of the match was 92:45.
Real Madrid had a corner and had every man forward, I shouted to everyone to make sure they are marking someone, Bale floated the ball in and David de Gea punched the ball clear and Wayne Rooney punted it down the field...

The final whistle went, the whole bench ran onto the pitch, the players were so excited.
I walked over to Carlo Ancelotti and spoke to him, we hugged each other and he walked over to his team, I knew he was devastated.

I walked over to Ryan Giggs and hugged him.
"Well Giggsy, we've done it again." I said to him, grinning.
"Haha, but this time, we didn't play!" He replied, chuckling.

Wayne and Robin ran towards me and celebrated!
"We've done it gaffer!!" Wayne screamed, hugging me.
"Yes, yes we have Wayne!" I replied, jumping up and down with him.
"Gaffer, come and celebrate with the boys" Robin said to me, pointing at the group of players in the centre circle.
"Oh, why the hell not!" I said, running with them both towards the lads in the middle.

I've won the champions league as a player, and the feeling is absolutely insane, however as a manager, you feel more success as not only have you won, but you've helped others win it. They've looked up to you and asked you for advice, they've taken it and used it to win, and that feeling knowing you've helped many players win the biggest trophy in Europe, is amazing.

We celebrated in the centre circle for a while, before walking up towards the stands to collect our trophy, however before I went up, Cristiano saw me and walked over to me.
"Well done David, you've really become a great manager my friend!" He said to me, before shaking my hand. He walked off towards the other lads such as Wayne Rooney and Nemanja Vidic.

The time had now come, we walked up the stairs, the atmosphere was immense, fireworks were going off, all we could hear was "UNITED! UNITED!" I looked at all the fans surrounding the stairs, there face was filled with a beaming smile, this feeling was epic. We reached the top and one by one collected our medals, soon enough, the trophy came out, and it was handed to Nemanja, everyone went "ooooohhhh!" shaking their hands waiting for Nemanja to lift up the trophy, and when he did, there was a huge roar everywhere are the stadium.

Javier Hernandez brought out the champagne and splashed it everyone, we were all jumping up and down and dancing. The fans were cheering, what a day this was, or more so, what a season it has been. Firstly being appointed as Manager, then winning not one, not two, not three, but FOUR trophies! Hopefully this success will continue for years to come.

SEASON TWO - DOMINATING THE WORLD

Hello everyone and welcome to the start of season 2 in my David Beckham - From Player to Manager story. Before I begin, I just want to say thank you so much for all the good feedback you've given me in the previous season! Anyway, lets begin Season 2!

BACK TO WORK

It's good to be back, the break was great but nothing beats the start of the new season. I've arranged a pre-season camp in American for the lads, alongside with Rio's testimonial match for 10 years of service at the club, It should be a great few weeks.

I've asked Jim Lawlor, our chief scout to give me some recommendations for potential new signings for the club, he should get back to me soon, I have a few in mind to begin with who I think will add something to our team, these are:

Marco Verratti

CA:
PA:

He was a key player in PSG's push for the title last season, and he's vastly improving each season, I sent an enquiry to PSG about him and hopefully I'll get a response soon enough.

Luke Shaw

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/cms_images/news/luke-shaw-award-article148-583364.jpg

CA:
PA:

The perfect replacement for Evra when he retires, Luke Shaw is a very promising left-back and is already making a name for himself with his good performances for Southampton.

Marco Reus

CA:
PA:

A great winger and with many clubs interested in Nani, he would be the replacement for Nani, he was Dortmund's top scorer last season and he looks as if he's still improving!
Incredible first season! Veratti is great signing, Luke Shaw is an english man so his price is little bit excessive (25mil£) and Marco Reus is fantastic winger but in my game he is not intrested in negotiations with United (he wants to play only in Germany).

Good luck! :)

Finalising Transfers

http://www.giftofvision.org.uk/images/donate/cheque.jpg

We had a great time in America for pre-season, we've trained a lot and the lads are raring to go for the start of this years Premier League, however now I'm back at Old Trafford, it's time to open the cheque book.

The board this season have offered me 91 million pounds and just under 2 million for my wage budget due to last seasons success in all competitions.

After going through hundreds of reports about potential signings, I've made my decision on who to sign, Marco Verratti is on the top of my list, as Tom Cleverley is on his way out to Paris Saint-Germain.
Luke Shaw is another big target for me, as Patrice isn't getting any younger, and Luke's stock is rising a lot, now would be the perfect time to buy him, he won't be cheap, but in the long run, it'd be a huge profit.
I contacted Marco Reus's agent and asked him about his availability, however his agent told me that no matter what, Reus is staying at Borussia Dortmund and hung up on me.

So, now, my main two players to buy are Marco Verratti and Luke Shaw, time to contact their clubs...

First off was Marco Verratti, I phoned up his agent and asked about is availability, he told me that Marco is available to move, and that I'd have to offer PSG around 7-10 million pounds.
I immediately contacted PSG about Verratti and offered 9 million pounds, and sure enough they accepted it, what a deal this was, a quality player like Verratti for under 10 million pounds!
I offered him 30k per weeks but he hasn't responded to it yet.

And with Luke Shaw, I contacted Southampton about his price, and they wanted 40 million for him, I slowly but surely kept bring his price down, and in the end they accepted a 26.5 million bid for him, hopefully he'll accept my contract offer which gives him 37k per week!

LUKE SHAW JOINS MANCHESTER UNITED

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/cms_images/player/luke-shaw-england-u21s-line-up-in-story148-1038859.jpg

Young England full-back Luke Shaw has secured a dream move to Manchester United for the 2014/15 season for a fee rumoured to be 25 million pounds.

Luke Shaw, 19, was in fine form for Southampton last season, however a lot of interest for him was sparked when the transfer window first opened with teams such as Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain interested in the player.

However, Manchester United boss David Beckham got his business done early and has signed Shaw until 2017, in which he earns 37k per week.

Fans of Manchester United are delighted with the signing of Shaw saying:
"He is a magnificent capture for the club, he has the potential to become world class and could well be England's next full-back rather soon!"

David Beckham is still looking to improve his squad, with rumours that he has agreed a fee for Paris Saint-Germain's midfielder Marco Verratti.
another fantastic set of updates Josh, keep it up! have a little soft spot for this united (probably as close to one as i'll ever get haha)

Cheers man! :) Yeah, I just wish we were doing better IRL this season :/

THANK YOU! :)

MARCO VERRATTI JOINS MANCHESTER UNITED

Manchester United have added to their squad for the second time this transfer window by bagging Marco Verratti for a bargain of 9 million pounds.
Marco Verratti, 21, is touted to be France's next future star and has left Paris Saint-Germain for the Champions of England Manchester United.

It could well be the best buy of this season as Manchester Untied splashed out 9 million pounds to sign the midfielder, which came as a surprise to everyone.

Verratti has been gaining a lot of interest of late with clubs such as Real Madrid and AS Monaco looking to sign him, however Manchester United got their business done relatively early and have signed a player with the potential to be world class.

Manager David Beckham has already signed two players for this upcoming season, and the rumour is that he's not done yet.

TRANSFER TARGET - NANI

For the 2014/15, Head Coach Gerardo Martino has been putting together potential targets for the club to sign, and exclusively on this website, we will reveal the targets one by one, this week, we start with Manchester United's Portuguese winger Luis Nani.

Nani has been a target for us for a while now but we are stepping up our interest and Gerardo may make a bid for the fast winger who is rumoured to be valued at 45 million pounds.

Nani was impressive for Manchester United last season, scoring 5 goals and 4 assists in 18 games.
We will update you more on this story as it progresses!

UNVEILING OF LUKE AND MARCO

DB - Good morning everyone.

Room - Morning Mr.Beckham!

DB - As you know, today I'd like to introduce my two latest signings, Marco and Luke! If you have any questions you may ask them now!

Room - Are you delighted with your two new signings?

DB - Yes, very much so, otherwise why would I have signed them? Marco and Luke have immense talent and I am very happy that they chose to come to Manchester United.

Room - Looking at both Marco's and Luke's positions, will you have to offload players to keep everyone happy?

DB - I don't think there is any need to do that, as everyone knows at Manchester United you are not guaranteed a place, you have to earn it through good work, and if a player moans about the lack of football they are getting at the club, they can leave as they will not have worked hard to gain a place in my team.

Room - Question for Marco, Why did you join Manchester United when you were perfectly fine at Paris Saint-Germain?

MV - I joined Manchester United as currently they are the biggest club in the world, also I wanted to work under Mr.Beckham and help United continue their club winning success, it wasn't because at PSG I fell out with anyone, or I hated the club, it was just a better move for my career in my opinion which is why I chose to join Manchester United.

Room - Question for Luke, As Manchester United have Patrice Evra who is a great fullback, do you see yourself as 'just a backup'?

LS - Not at all, as the gaffer said previously, it will be a challenge for everyone to earn a place in the first team, all I can do is try my best and if it's not good enough to get a first team place I will keep trying my hardest and hope to get in the first team soon.

Room - David, will we see any more business in the transfer market from you?

DB - Possibly, you'll have to wait and see!

Room - Thanks David, Marco and Luke.

DB, MV, LS - Thank you!
