*To those who read my 'Stockport County - A New Era' story, this is my new story! I made it because it would take me a VERY long time to get into the better leagues, and so the story would have become boring!*

DAVID BECKHAM - FROM PLAYER TO MANAGER

In this story, I will take the role of being David Beckham.

MOYES LEAVES MANCHESTER UNITED
David Moyes has left Manchester United.
Reports suggest that the 50 year old left the club due to an argument between him and the board.
David Moyes only just joined Manchester United this season however Sir Alex Ferguson's pick for the new Manchester United manager has left the club to pursue his career elsewhere.

It is now unknown who will become manager of England's most successful club but the front runners for the job are Jurgen Klopp and Roberto Di Matteo.

I miss it so much...
I miss waking up in the morning knowing you'll be playing the game you love so dearly.
I never thought that retiring would be this hard.

Maybe some TV will take my mind off things..

*I turn on the TV and head off to make a drink*

"David Moyes had left Manchester United after a disagreement with the board!" The speakers from the TV belted out.
I stopped in my tracks and looked at the TV which was on Sky Sports News.
"He's only been the job a few weeks and already he has left!" Jim White shouted talking to other members of the Sky Sports News team.
I went to sit down and I turned up the volume.
"We believe the two front runners for the job are Jurgen Klopp and Roberto Di Matteo." Jim White also added.
My God, I can't believe it, he's gone already without managing a single game? I heard my phone buzz and I picked it up and looked at my messages.

I quickly picked up my car keys and hurried outside to my car, if Sir Alex text's you, you know its important!

I drove frantically down the M60, narrowly avoiding cars and lorries, I kept wondering why Sir Alex told me to come down to The Theatre of Dreams, it can't be me he has chose to become the new manager can it? Nah, it can't be. He probably wants me to help him choose the new manager of Manchester United.
I then saw a glimpse of Old Trafford with the sun just rising behind it... Nostalgia then hit me... I remember driving down here to come to games... Oh, how I miss those days...

I took the next exit and drove towards the stadium where the media was gathered around the stadium and supporters were speaking to them.
I pulled up and put on my jacket and tried to find an area without any media as I didn't want to keep Sir Alex waiting any longer, I started to sneak around the other parked cars and kept one eye out looking for any media coming in my direction.
"Excuse me sir!" a voice belted out a short distance away. I took a quick glance at him and I dashed towards the entrance bumping into many people stood around the stadium.
I entered the stadium and took a huge deep breath, I didn't want any media finding out I'm here as they would assume I'm the next manager and would make many rumours which wouldn't help the club.

I went to the receptionist. "Excuse me miss, Sir Alex wanted to see me?" I said to her, trying to keep my voice down.
"Oh yes, Mr.Beckham, Mr.Ferguson will see you now." She told me, pointing into the direction of his office.
"Thank you." I said briefly to her, and walked towards his office, now I would finally find out what he wanted to see me for...

Very good updates! Keep it up!
*knock knock*
I waited patiently at the door, waiting for an answer.
"COME IN!" A voice said behind the door.
I opened the door...

"David! Glad you could get here this morning!" Sir Alex said, smiling at me.
"Morning Sir Alex!" I replied, giving him a handshake.
"Please David, call me Alex, your a close friend, so there is no need to call me by my full title" he replied, chuckling to himself.
"So, Alex, what did you want to speak to me about?" I asked him, looking puzzled.
"Well, David, as your well aware, David Moyes recently left his post as Manchester United manager, and we are looking for his replacement." He said, looking rather focused.
"Me and the board have made our decision on who will be our new manager.."
"And you want me to give you my thoughts on who it should be?" I said interrupting Sir Alex.
"No." he replied.
"You want me to welcome to new manager?" I asked him very quickly.
"No." he replied.
"You want me to..." "Enough David!" He shouted.
I shut up and turned red.
"David, what I wanted to say before you interrupted me is that we've made up our minds on who will be our new manager, and we have chose YOU."He said to me.
I couldn't speak. I couldn't hear myself think.
"What do you think?" He asked me.
I couldn't reply, no words were coming out of my mouth.
"David? Are you okay?" He said, looking concerned.
"Uh.. yeah.. just give me a moment.." I finally said.
"I know it's a big challenge, but I have faith in you, David." He told me, smiling.
"So, what do you say? Do you want to manager the biggest English club?"
I nodded.
"Okay then! Then its done, just sign here and we'll announce to the world that you have become the next manager of Manchester United!" He said with delight.
I signed the contract and walked with Sir Alex towards the door.
What have I got myself into...

David and Sir Alex close friends? :P anyway good work so far I like how you write
Good luck ;)
